A telegram note supposedly handwritten by Abraham Lincoln to Cornelius Bushnell, June 19th, 1863. "Washington is in danger! Rebel iron clad coming over land on wheels! Make nine monitors by tomorrow night and charge them to me.

In 2017 after careful expert analysis, its likely this 'telegram' was a prank played on Cornelius by friends or colleagues; it is not Lincoln's handwriting and the envelope and telegram mastheads don't match. And Lincoln never joked about the conduct of the war, especially in easily intercepted telegrams.

An illegal trade document signed by the Abbot of the Tiger Temple, Kanchanaburi, Thailand, and a tiger farmer in Laos.
English translation of the agreement:
"23 August 2005
The undersigned, Mr. Boonrueng Somswat is the owner of a female Indochinese tiger, born on 13th October 2004, named Dao Rueng, with Microchip no. LOT1797 116421656A, and wished to exchange this tiger with the male tiger, named Payak, born in 1999. The purpose of this exchange is for mating, so as to prevent the weakness in the species due to inbreeding. And Mr. Boonrueng Somswat, the owner of a tiger farm in DPR Laos, agrees to sign this contract for the objective of the tiger conservation. After the successful result the tiger will be
exchanged back.

The text reads:
"The bronze statue of Amita-Buddha, Daibutsu or Great Buddha wa cast in 1252 AD by the sculptors Ono-Goroemon and Tanji-Hisatomo at the request of Miss Idanonotsubone and Priest Joko who not only originated to build the big statue and temple covered it but also collected donations from people for it.
In the year of 1495 a tidal wave swept away the great temple of the Buddha, leaving only its foundation stones but did not injure the Buddha's body.
The big earthquake in Sept. 1923 did not harm the body but destroyed its base and it was repaired in 1926.
The latest repair was done in 1960-61. This repair (1) strengthened a power of the Buddha's neck which supports the big head and (2) made it possible for the Buddha's body to move freely on the base avoiding a big shock of earthquake.

It is permanently in an S shape due to the holder I had it in after my driver's license expired while I was in England. At least it's filled with stamps now. :)
I talked to my youth pastor about this, and he definitely agreed that the first semester of college is the hardest. And I just found that really comforting, because first semester was really hard for me, but I'm taking more and harder classes this upcoming semester. Plus, I'm getting even more involved in the church.
