I'm going through and posting some previous journal pages. Adding them in order so, no, you guys aren't confused. LOL
This is my ALL TIME favorite drawing of hers. This was her very first mermaid. She still draws in bed with me in the mornings and we love to do art together. I am blessed. :)
This booklet is in the name of Nathaniel Morgan and dated 1836. It contains copperplate script handwritten details of William Jones' will, information about the Hatcham Estate, income, running costs etc.
Specification section of the manual. The manual is a very large folded sheet. I put it here because in a discussion of L35 AF2 the maual was needed. I think the only difference with AF2 is the databack and the small extra battery for the databack.
Undated letter by Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours to Guillaume-François Le Trosne on his economical theories.
Both were the leaders of the "Physiocrats", the first scientific economic school. His son later founded the chemical company Dupont de Nemours, known from Teflon, Nylon, etc...

A woman has collected drinking water from a neighbor's house, as there is waterlogging in the lower part of the city due to heavy rains and tidal water. But as a result of this waterlogging, the open garbage dump and dirty water from the drains are mixed, resulting in an acute water crisis for drinking water.
While continuous heavy rains and tidal water make life difficult for people, waterlogging and dirty water make people suffer the most for drinking water.

First lesson in the Eleanor Winters' book "Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy": 8 basic strokes for lowercase letters, and simplest lowercase letters.
I finally have completed the first project off of my Pratt Albion hand-press. It's a short essay on the origin of the term "Devil's Tail" which applied to the lever of a hand-press, and how it came to be the name of my private press. Printed on 25 year old Mohawk Letterpress paper which I have dragged all over the country, using hand-set Rhapsody, Garamond, and French Clarendon types, with a 24 point Vendome 'H' turned upside down, which serves as an initial. The blue border is an ATF Clelland border, as is the ornament under the title. It took over 1100 inked impressions to complete it — I didn't bother to count the hours, but each impression averaged about 2 minutes. Printed as a contribution to "It's a Small World", which has been published for 60 years, the new edition, soon to be issued, is No. 61.

An early day ad for Palace Drug Store. Believe from 1895. W. T. Howell and J. W. Wilkerson, proprietors of Palace Drug, were doctors and druggists, and brothers-in-law. Dr Wilkerson died 1896. Circa 1907 Dr. Casper H Smith's father took over ownership of Palace Drug. He was Casper H Smith Sr.

It is not like this is my most impressive shot, but the power of the internet and viral posting was clearly evident with this image on January 20, 2011. After a week of 300-400 views per day from a blog on this image in Tumblr.com, someone posted it in Reddit.com and the views exploded. At one point there were nearly 100 views per minute on the image! The 24 hour period Flickr tracked for this incredible surge ended with nearly 71,000 views on this image that day. Before this image went crazy I had about 55,000 views on my entire site of nearly 800 images after 18 months of membership. That averages just over 100 views per day for my entire collection and my single largest number of views on a single image in a single day was never more than about 40 when I was working hard to get a photo into a number of different groups. This image was viewed about 1,800 times more.
I doubt I will ever do anything on Flickr directly to get this many views in a single day, so unless I get another image to go viral in another major blogging site this will be my record photo.
I think I am most amazed that I didn't need to put any of the typical "sexual" tags that get photos huge views.

While cleaning out our garage a few weeks ago, I came across this yellow legal pad full of my handwritten study notes for the Ohio bar examination in February, 1993. The bar examination is an instrument of cruel and diabolical torture which, in my view, should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention, and probably other international treaties and conventions as well. I have sat for two such examinations, with successful results both times. (The other was in Utah in July, 1983.) I spent about 700 hours studying for the Ohio exam, and ended up with one of the highest scores among the 500-plus applicants who took it when I did, but that didn't matter; I wouldn't have cared if I had a much lower score, as long as I passed the thing.
I no longer practice law, having discovered the hard way that I hated the practice even more than I did the preparation for it; and while I don't rule out the possibility of taking the Arizona exam at some point, I think that is highly unlikely. I have no intention of ever practicing again here or anywhere else, and at age 53, I just don't think I have a third bar exam in me at this point.
This particular section of my notes covered Federal income taxation, which was a topic on the Ohio exam but not Utah's. Although not quite as terrifying as I had intended it to be, the death's-head emblem near the upper left-hand corner expresses my dread of this particular subject. I briefly entertained fantasies about becoming a tax attorney -- until I took a tax class in law school and quickly concluded that whatever my future entailed, it would not center around this complex and arcane subject.

Manuscript summary: The so-called Wandalgarius manuscript containing the "Lex Romana Visigothorum", the "Lex Salica" and the "Lex Alamannorum". An important legal manuscript, written and decorated with numerous colored initials and a miniature of a crowned lawgiver in the year 793 by the cleric Wandalgarius in Lyon. It contains the laws of the Visigoths (Lex Romana Visigothorum), the Salian Franks (Lex Salica) and the Alemanni (Lex Alamannorum). It is the oldest precisely dated manuscript in the Abbey Library of St. Gall.
