Pullip Custom Head by Sheryl Designs to Sinstresse
Sinstresse order me the same design on this face doll:
Within the grounds of the local parish church in Pitlochry I found this impressive memorial and it was a discovery for me. This is what the memorial says; Dedicated by friends to the memory of Alexander Duff, D.D, L.L.D an illustrious and devoted missionary of Jesus Christ. The first to kindle the light of higher Christian education in India; he for half a century consecrated to its advancement all the resources of a singularly ardent nature and commanding genius. During his whole career he was regarded by the best class of India’s youth as a trusted guide and friend and by the Christian church as an able and venerated leader.
He was born at Moulin, near this spot 25th April, 1806 ordained a minister of Christ, 12th August, 1829 founded at Calcutta 13th July, 1830 the missionary college which now bears his name, he died at Sidmouth 12th February, 1878.”
“Fervent in spirit, serving the Lord”
Once again it is truly remarkable what you can discover when you are out and about, after a bit of shopping and a nice lunch it was time for me to catch my train. I have not any more bookings for the train at the moment apart for the usual trips to Inverness.
This doll is aptly named, I will start with that. I love Isha, I'm a bit biased because of my heritage, but it is what it is. However, I don't have every Isha that has ever been made, I didn't even try to get all the Ishas out there. This one, though, I had to. She is a dream.
Love the white outfit for her. It makes her even more ethereal, yet accentuates her sultriness. Her face is flawless and in my opinion, she is the best Isha ever made.
As with all other Sacred Lotus dolls, Isha's accessories are simply amazing as well. Just wish she had a necklace as well, a jewel-studded choker to be exact, in true over-the-top Bollywood style.

In 1864, a competition held to design a new façade was won by Emilio De Fabris (1808–1883) in 1871. Work began in 1876 and was completed in 1887. This neo-gothic façade in white, green and red marble forms a harmonious entity with the cathedral, Giotto's bell tower and the Baptistery, but some think it is excessively decorated.
I picked this image because it represents freedom. Also like the bold colours because it makes it understand with the blackout angel and tree.

When Lord Krishna bestowed divine Vision to Arjuna and graced him with the Vishwaroopa Darshana , Arjuna was awed, dumbstruck and overwhelmed by this Divine Cosmic Manifestation-The source of all creation and destruction. It was awe inspiring and and so petrified was Arjuna by the sheer Magnificence that he begged Krishna to return to his original familiar loved form which Arjuna could handle.
If we were to look at the Sun directly, we would not be able to bear its brightness and splendour and would be blinded instantly. The silver lining on a cloud, the peeping rays of light, the spider’s web, the dewdrops on the grass, the symmetry of a flower, the delicacy of a creeper, the golden sunlight through leaves, the graceful animal, the cycle of seasons are all images of the Universal power, showing Itself in versions we can tolerate. So stay in bliss friends.
Hexagon-shaped fighter kites, devoid of tails, decorated with portraits of actors.
In Japan, where kites are frequently integrated into social and religious rituals, human representation is frequent, especially faces of heroes, divinities, actors, warriors, and Samurai servants.

Old School of Divinity, Cambridge, 8 Oct 2015
This is WORK IN PROGRESS.
At least it is better than Street View.
( Go to 52.207899, 0.118048 in Google Maps and have a look)
This was shot with a Sigma 10-20 and the verticals sorted in Lightroom, leaving just a touch of convergence.
Had planned to come back later when the sun had moved round a bit, but it clouded over.
It would be nice to get the whole of the front of the School of Divinity. It gets the sun mid afternoon, but this is the time of day for maximum clutter - table and chairs now encroaching from café to left. Maybe wait until depths of winter when too cold to put tables out. I can live with bikes and street furniture.
Then I may try a pano of several shots ...
Dog Rocks, Batesford
An amazing place, was lucky that there was noone else there as i'd heard that it is quite a popular area for the local photographers. Went on a ridiculously windy day, which knocked my tripod over with the camera attached - lucky nothing broke, but I learnt my lesson to hang heavier stuff off it. Was bloody freezing out there too... thermometer on my car read 5 degrees celcius...
