Part of Oxford university, the building (which is attached to the Bodleian library) was built in 1427 and 1483 - with the stunning ceiling, with lierne (rib) vaulting, made in the Gothic perpendicular style, designed in the 1480s by William Orchard.

Stained glass windows inside La Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona.
Over 2 stories high, these beautiful windows punctuate the walls on both sides while letting in splashes of color that seem to paint the white walls around them.
The cathedral is full of this kind of windows, creating a magical atmosphere inside.. making you feel like you are outside, with lights giving a forest like sensation.

This is where I work. Built by Franciscan nuns in 1913 as a three-story red brick sanitarium with 75 patient beds, this facility still carries on the tradition of caring for those most in need. Today it is a seven story structure that consumes several city blocks and hosts the latest advancements in medicine. Working here is a ministry in many ways but it is the divine nature of courage and acceptance in the face of life and death that keeps me coming back.
As this image was shot, a raving schizophrenic was to my left ranting about killing. It's a strange mix.
