La Casa della Fotografia di Roma, Cittaslow International Pier Giorgio Oliveti Pier Giorgio Oliveti Dignity No Profit People ETS ringraziano Parlamento europeo in Italia Europa Experience – David Sassoli, per l’ospitalità, tutti i partecipanti – e siete stati veramente tanti! - alla bellissima inaugurazione di venerdì 25 ottobre.
Ma soprattutto ringrazio le fotografe e i fotografi che con le loro opere hanno raccontato con sapienza e proprietà di linguaggio le "reti necessarie" tra Europa e Mondo attraverso storie di identità, memoria, cittadinanza attiva, difesa dell'ambiente, mettendo in risalto temi cruciali come giustizia sociale, dignità e sicurezza alimentare. Scatti premiati e finalisti raccontano la vita lenta e autentica delle Cittaslow, intrecciando passato e futuro in visioni artistiche di resilienza e speranza.

The EUROPE_WORLD: From Europe to the World, Necessary and Diffuse Networks photography exhibition has finally started!
The House of Photography in Rome, Cittaslow International Pier Giorgio Oliveti Pier Giorgio Oliveti Dignity No Profit People ETS thank the European Parliament in Italy Europa Experience – David Sassoli, for the hospitality, all the participants – and there were so many of you! - at the beautiful inauguration on Friday 25 October.
But above all I thank the photographers who, with their works, have told with wisdom and ownership of language the "necessary networks" between Europe and the world through stories of identity, memory, active citizenship, defense of the environment, highlighting crucial themes such as social justice, dignity and food security. Award-winning and finalist shots tell the slow and authentic life of the Cittaslow, intertwining past and future in artistic visions of resilience and hope.

Free entry from Monday to Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm. Access for visitors with reduced mobility is provided for the entire exhibition.

A much gentler flash (diffused flash) was achieved for this photo by placing a few pieces of tissue right in front of the flash and it created a gentle fast as compared to the other photo that used a hard flash. Can be seen that the there is little to no shadow that is caused by the subject here in this photo.
