Diffuse Lighting—Studio: [one image] Explore diffuse lighting in the green screen space, using one of the photo backdrops (white, black or grey) with your charged object.
Here is a quick test shot (SOOC) using the new DIY diffuser posted earlier.
The left image is using just the 430EX II with a Stofen diffuser fitted.
The right image is using both the stofen diffuser and also the DIY diffuser mounted to the lens.
The noticeable differences are the strong shadow under the subject and also the flash hotspots on the top edge.
Seems pretty reasonable to me. Will have to test it outside tomorrow if the weather improves.

Oh by the way the subject is a mealworm at 2.5x lifesize ;-)
The light was great inside the Ferry Building. I'm happy I got the exposure on the shot right - it's always tricky shooting light sources.

I managed to focus on the sun directly without much safety lenses, I clicked and voila! The result was stupendous!! The sun was diffused and I still don't know how it happnd! :)
