This whale space at Rudolph's farm was deeply moving; here, I captured the light as it filtered in through the tin and hit the candelabra. I thought the diffused light on a light source was also an ironic touch.

The concave shape was inspired by Steb1's small concave diffuser he created for his MT24 EX (Canon equivalent of Nikon's R1C1 macro flash system), you can see Steb1's equipment setup here - flic.kr/s/aHsjjHRWp5.
I molded some plastic around the end of the SB-R200 using polymorph which protuded enough to slot in a small plastic tube. The tube naturally bends into an oval shape when slotted into the plastic mold. A concave, oval shaped deodorant lid is placed in the end which has further diffusion by 2 layers of velum paper glued to the deodorant lid. Not ideal for lighting background but concentrates the light at the subject and is very portable and not clunky or oversized like previous designs.

My new Elsa Toddler 16'' Doll has been fully deboxed. She is posed free standing, and is photographed from various angles in natural diffused lighting.
Her medium length light blonde hair is arranged in a braided ponytail. She has long straight side bangs over her forehead, with a black satin headband keeping her hair neat over her forehead. There is some hair product in her bangs, but otherwise her hair is soft and smooth.
Her head is round in shape. She has big blue green eyes glancing to her right, with very wide pupils. There is a pattern in the iris that I haven't seen before used in Disney dolls, where there is a large oval shaped region that is offset from both main section of the iris and the pupil. She has short closely packed eyelashes, pink eye shadow, and thin, very light brown eyebrows. She has a small nose, and very thin dark purplish pink lips in a soft smile. There are dark brown freckles in her upper cheeks, and pink rouge throughout much of her cheeks. She has very pale pinkish skin, paler than her sister Anna's toddler doll, but not as pale as the 12'' doll of the grownup Elsa.
The expression on her face is thoughtful and curious, with the slight smile and severely side glancing eyes.
She has the same basic body as the Animators' Collection dolls, but is taller by a half inch at 16'' tall rather than the standard 15.5'' tall (such as the Anna toddler doll). It seems that she has longer legs than the Anna doll. She has a ball jointed neck, ball jointed shoulders, and hip joints that pivot about a plane at a 45 degree angle to the vertical. The construction of her hip joints mean that she has to sit with her legs splayed out at about a 90 degree angle. She has large flat feet, and can free stand very stably.
She has a satin outfit that consists of combination dress and blouse. The bodice of the dress is black and red, there is a navy blue sash, and a dark blue skirt with a black border with floral design at the hemline. She is wearing blue tights, and shiny black shoes with the same floral design as on her dress.
First look at my newly purchased Elsa Toddler Doll, from Frozen. I was at my local Disney Store and didn't expect the Frozen toddler dolls to be out so soon, since they are not yet available online. They have been available in the UK for a couple of weeks. Naturally I bought them, and will be posting photos of them boxed, during deboxing, and fully deboxed. I will also show them with other comparable dolls.

The red palm weevil, Rhynchophorus ferrugineus, is a species of snout beetle also known as the Asian palm weevil or sago palm weevil. The adult beetles are relatively large, ranging between two and five centimeters long, and are usually a rusty red colour—but many colour variants exist and have often been classified as different species. Weevil larvae can excavate holes in the trunk of a palm trees up to a metre long, thereby weakening and eventually killing the host plant. As a result, the weevil is considered a major pest in palm plantations, including the coconut palm, date palm and oil palm.
Originally from tropical Asia, the red palm weevil has spread to Africa and Europe, reaching the Mediterranean in the 1980s. It was first recorded in Spain in 1994, and in France in 2006. Additional infestations have been located in Malta and Italy (Tuscany, Sicily and Campania). It is also well established throughout most of Portugal. It also has established in Morocco, Tunisia, and other North African countries. The weevil was first reported in the Americas on Curaçao in January 2009 and sighted the same year in Aruba. It was reported in the United States at Laguna Beach, CA late in 2010 but did not become established. This weevil usually infests palms younger than twenty years. While the adult causes some damage through feeding, it is the burrowing of the larva into the heart of the palm that can cause the greatest mortality of trees. The adult female lays approximately two hundred eggs on new growth in the crown of the palm, at the base of young leaves, or in open lesions on the plant. The egg hatches into a white, legless larva. The larva will feed on the soft fibres and terminal buds, tunneling through the internal tissue of the tree for about a month. The larvae can occasionally grow to a length of six to seven centimeters. At pupation, the larva will leave the tree and form a cocoon built of dry palm fibers in leaf litter at the base of the tree. The total life cycle takes about 7–10 weeks.
