This glorious wife of mine.

ESCIF - Montreal Mural Festival

During the first photo walk we did in Florence I got so lucky to capture this person admiring the greenery on a cloudy day. The diffused light here makes everything perfectly lit and my eyes are just all over the place every time I look at it.

Especially designed to favour the acoustic diffusion of the tubular bells.

This whale space at Rudolph's farm was deeply moving; here, I captured the light as it filtered in through the tin and hit the candelabra. I thought the diffused light on a light source was also an ironic touch.

I thought that since I mentioned my milkjug diffuser, I should share how I made it.

not that you couldn't have figurede it out, but here it is: simply cut a hole in the top of an opaque white milk jug to fit your flash. then, find some way of securing it so that it doesn't fall off. I used two tabs of duck tape with velcro on them.

The concave shape was inspired by Steb1's small concave diffuser he created for his MT24 EX (Canon equivalent of Nikon's R1C1 macro flash system), you can see Steb1's equipment setup here - flic.kr/s/aHsjjHRWp5.

I molded some plastic around the end of the SB-R200 using polymorph which protuded enough to slot in a small plastic tube. The tube naturally bends into an oval shape when slotted into the plastic mold. A concave, oval shaped deodorant lid is placed in the end which has further diffusion by 2 layers of velum paper glued to the deodorant lid. Not ideal for lighting background but concentrates the light at the subject and is very portable and not clunky or oversized like previous designs.

it will help you, it does.. it does look like a breast pump.. -___-
