The Make a Difference Area at Summer Camp is located just outside the main walkway to the Moonshine Stage and hosts a wide variety of nonprofit organizations. We hope that the education these groups provide at their booths and during panel discussions in the Soulshine Tent will increase your awareness of important environmental and human rights issues, and inspire you to get involved and take action in a positive way…both locally and around the world!

I find the size difference of the profiles as well as the blue profile being in the foreground compelling as it allows for the portrayal of the red profile as an afterthought. Blue is a color that is associated with negative emotions, and is both larger and in the foreground to represent the enormity of this feeling. The more vibrant red is partially covered, pushed to the back of the mind. However it is much more enthralling as it includes a dynamic expression and genuine emotion, as opposed to the facade at the front. The background is plain and uninteresting to show the dominance of the opposing emotions, however it is tinted lavender to demonstrate the subtle blend, and how blue and red have mixed together to create and overall equilibrium.
