maybe haylee will grow up to be as tall as her dad some day.....but she definately has a long way to go.
Eventhough they look the same at fist glance and more so as every day passes, there are some ever so slight differences between Jewel and Darla (Ginger).
If you look close at the beaks, Jewel on the left has a more yellowish beak than Darla, which seems odd since Jewel is the oldest and the older they get the more black the beak should get until eventually all black.
Also, there is some slight green that sneeks through on the right wing of Darla.
I created and made these last weekend April 12/13, 2014. Painted watercolor papers and minimal embellishments. I'm making these to bless our church's Missions ministry and more!

False color image from the purely deep red Halpha image, taken through the Daystar Quark Chromosphere filter, using a Vixen A80SS 80mm doublet refractor. The false color was created using Adobe CS5 (photoshop), converting the RGB red image to Black and White (generally taking the Red down and Yellow up, or vice-versa), and then taking that image as a difference layer in CS5.

Last year for spring break, I traveled to England...alone...without parents, with a school group. It was really great. No parents, no sibilings, now thats the life...for a week.
So this year, I'm going to the Outer Banks. (the same house they went to last year, without me, Caitlin, and Chelsea.) But this years spring break, is with parents and sibilings.
I'm excited, don't get me wrong. But tomorrow, I'm leaving at 6 am (to miss the traffic. BS! We're still going to hit traffic.) And on the way down, we're stopping off at Williamsburg. I've been there before, and I was bored out of my mind. It will be a "good learning experience." Too bad I learned all this stuff in 4th grade.
Well, have a nice break!

Charles Babbage's Difference Engine.
This difference engine was built for a wealthy collector in America by a museum in Britain. They built two; one for their museum and one for the collector. This one is on loan to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.
We saw a demonstration of the Engine; it's quite beautiful.
