Turns out, despite the fact Michaela is quite petite, there's a big size difference between our girls!
It makes a difference, believe me, to see your work hung on a wall. The dublinr exhibition has been deemed a success, with many people coming to see it and many more sales than we'd anticipated.
Many thanks to Andy Sheridan, Phil and Dave G Kelly amongst others, without whose dedication and effort it wouldn't have happened.
Mr. Mulligan Man has officially been at Casa de Russell for two weeks. What a difference good food, clean water, some vetting, and lots of love can make. This is not the same dog that was dropped off June 27th. Think you'll be able to tell his physical changes just from this weeks stats vs. two weeks ago ~ his stats from June 27th are in ( ) so you can see the progress! His personality has also changed: there is no food aggression at all, there is now a spring in his long, loping step, and a great sparkle in his beautiful brown eyes! He and my Maggie Mae are best buds; they love to "mouth joust" and smack talk (seriously, we timed them once and it went on for over 45 minutes!), they've started playing tug of war, and they will chase each other in the back yard for as long as he can take it. He is still having a hard time breathing if they make more than 3 laps in the backyard, but when he's had enough, he and Maggie will just stand by each other and pant until he's ready to go again! Enough yacking ~ here's the stats:
Neck 15.25" (14)
Ribcage 29" (27)
Hip 20.5" (15.75)
Chest width 13.25 (12)
Height 26.75 (26.5)
and....drumroll please!........
Weight 56.60 pounds! (42.40; he was 39 when he came to LBR on June 22)
Five minutes makes a world of difference in the land of sunsets, not quite as mind blowing as yesterdays Below you'll see why though still truly beautiful, 5 minutes make a world of difference....

It is extremely rare to see an SUV in Europe from what I gathered. This picture is neat showing the differences in standards such as which direction they drive in. Come on now! :)
Eventhough they look the same at fist glance and more so as every day passes, there are some ever so slight differences between Jewel and Darla (Ginger).
If you look close at the beaks, Jewel on the left has a more yellowish beak than Darla, which seems odd since Jewel is the oldest and the older they get the more black the beak should get until eventually all black.
Also, there is some slight green that sneeks through on the right wing of Darla.
