The Make a Difference Area at Summer Camp is located just outside the main walkway to the Moonshine Stage and hosts a wide variety of nonprofit organizations. We hope that the education these groups provide at their booths and during panel discussions in the Soulshine Tent will increase your awareness of important environmental and human rights issues, and inspire you to get involved and take action in a positive way…both locally and around the world!

Gloucester Township's Women Who Make A Difference 2015

Half of Lennys' body has spots. I can literally count how many ( 6 on his toe, 9 on his ear and 1 on the other ear)

Im not sure if the freckles on his nose count, but im not sure I know the difference between spots and freckles on dogs either! LOL

The difference between "mature" marmalade (made in '13) and "fresh" (made in '16). Oxidation is weird.

Random observations about emo music.

Stalagmites "might" grow up to meet a Stalactite. Stalactites hang "tight" to the ceiling. Stalactites sort of lactate, so you might remember they're a bunch of lazy drips just hanging around, while the Stalagmites work slow and steady, from a strong foundation, ever onward to bigger and better things; but they can't exist at all without help from the Stalactites.

“ACA GIVES - Together we can make a difference”

“The Giving Tree” By Shel Silverstein is a story of unconditional and selfless giving. In the story, the boy visits the tree, providing companionship and an outlet for giving and the tree in turn happily shares her resources. The Auditor-Controller Agency has brought this childhood story of reciprocal giving to life through food and can-struction. As an Agency, we are joining the County family in pooling our resources through the Stone Soup challenge to give back to the community in which we live and work. For this endeavor we adopted the motto “ACA (Auditor-Controller Agency) GIVES – Together we can make a difference”.

Auditor Agency employees donated $1,024.05 including cash used to purchase display items, a check payable directly to the food bank, and virtual donation. Our display contains 1,120 pounds of food.

Federal Track

2:15 PM – 3:45 PM

Pan American

Description

Hear from Federal DEIA leaders on how EEO and Civil Rights laws have been enhanced with DEIA principles promoted in the federal workplace through President Biden's issuance of Executive Orders (EOs) which have advanced equity, civil rights, racial justice and equal opportunity throughout all of the Federal Government. In June 2021, the President specifically issued EO 14035, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) in the Federal Workforce so that Agency workforces reflect the diversity of America through its employment policies and practices to ensure that public servants at all levels have an equal opportunity to succeed and lead. This builds on other Equity-related EOs such as EO 13985 Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government. The Federal Government is working to be a model for DEIA, where all employees are treated with dignity and respect through its recruitment, hire, professional development, career advancement and retention of the Nation’s talent with initiatives to remove barriers to equal opportunity. Hear how the Federal Government is ensuring accountability to assure a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplaces that yields higher-performing organizations.

An unidentified TN and TNL of First London parked in Northumberland Avenue London before returning to Crouch End on route 91

It's huge. It's marvelous. It actually works.

What a difference a few clouds make. Thanks to Celeste with her new camera and sharing some of her cool local spots. Check out her photostream....guess I need to get back to being serious and step up my game a bit. :o)

This one was not at the lake but on the way home from the lake. I stopped by on the way home from the store with a bunch of frozen stuff and didn't wait long enough at the lake for the sky to light up. I was able to stop on the way home and catch this.

Is it the time of year or are sunsets this pretty all year long?
