A little weathering, mirrors, and some aerodynamics helped make this tractor trailer look good for a diorama, or the model railroad.

Escala 1:24
I built the Cadillac and the Impala both are 1:25 scale plastic kits, manufactured by Monogram Models. They're both from 1959.
The 1933 Cadillac is 1:32 scale - and the Porsche is 1:24 scale, both are die cast.

Actually began as a photo of a diecast model then treated with some artistic painterly processing.

featured by itself. Even though I'm stylistically repeating myself by

is pretty spectacular as is the dashboard.
On another note, I hesitated to use the billboard because I couldn't find an accurate date
for it, but the image of the guy "looking" at the car was priceless.
It certainly is within the era, though, so I plead "artistic license".
Bonneville Bob, this one's for you!
