I made a tribute to Michael Paul Smith making a forced perspective of the forced perspective.....I never published the making of.........The final picture was posted at the group "Elgin Park". As I cannot photograph now, I am recycling old pictures! hahahaha...

The ultra sharp looking 1998 Eagle One #6 of Mark Martin. Mark won the Winston using this paint scheme.
A little weathering, mirrors, and some aerodynamics helped make this tractor trailer look good for a diorama, or the model railroad.
Still one of my all time favourite Maisto Fresh Metal castings and one I still can't leave behind whenever I see them on the pegs which of course very rarely happens here in the UK but more often abroad.
Strangely a newer green recolour appeared in some countries a year or so ago but for Europe this debut orange and white one is all thats on offer! Priced to undercut a basic HW and MBX cost cutting is evident but well disguised thanks to a really crisply cast body, intricate front and rear detailing and gorgeous era appropriate wheels.
Found recently at an Alcampo hypermarket in Spain.

The eleventh generation Ford Thunderbird was the last ever to wear that iconic nameplate and only lasted three years from 2002 to 2005. Widely know for its retro fuelled styling which initially looked good but then quickly fell out of favour with the American buying public.
Maisto brought us their Fresh Metal equivalent decades ago but only very recently has it been given a fresh set of clothes. And what a set of clothes!
They should probably have given this casting a shocking pink recolour years ago as it has totally revitalised an otherwise dated model and brought it back to life.
Budget restrictions ensures no interior of course but its still a licensed casting with detailed badging front and rear.

I built the Cadillac and the Impala both are 1:25 scale plastic kits, manufactured by Monogram Models. They're both from 1959.
The 1933 Cadillac is 1:32 scale - and the Porsche is 1:24 scale, both are die cast.
