Der Stein entstand Mitte bis Ende des 10. Jahrhunderts. Auf dem großen Runenstein steht: "König Harald befahl diesen Stein zu errichten, zum Gedenken an Gorm, seinen Vater, und an Thyra, seine Mutter. Der Harald, der (dem) sich ganz Dänemark und Norwegen unterwarf und die Dänen zu Christen machte." Die Runenschrift befindet sich auf allen drei Seiten des Steins. Auf jeweils einer Seite befindet sich die Darstellung eines Kampfes zwischen Löwe und Schlange und eine Christusdarstellung. (Wikipedia)

D19661. The old flower bedecked covered wooden bridge, Die Scherzligschleuse, in Thun, Canton Bern. Originally built in 1818, but rebuilt and renovated over the years, this bridge has a number of sluice gates underneath it to control the level and flow of the River Aare as it leaves the Thunersee (Lake Thun).
The wild white water created when the sluices are opened can be quite spectacular and is a magnet to surfers and canoeists.

On September 30th Rumpy died. It was such a tragedy and a horrible accident. I was letting Rumpy run around (not in his ball) like i usually do. My mom had to talk to me so she opened the door and i wasnt paying attention to where Rumpy was. My mom closed the door and to my COMPLETE horror, Rumpy's head was in the door. It broke his neck instantly. When I saw what happened, I screamed BLOODY HELL to my mom "MOM!!!!!!!!! SAVE HIM MOM!" and started breaking down crying/screaming once i sprinted to her room. The next 3 hours i do not remember. Alls I know is that the scene of Rumpy's death kept playing around and around in my head and my family tried to calm me down. I remember my mom saying "he was dead" and "he felt no pain"... I could NOT calm down no matter how hard i tried. I couldnt believe my baby was gone...
That night I slept in my Moms bed and she tried to be my therapy and we talked for 2 hours. I was shivering uncontrollably and was still crying. SHe told me to "hand my broken heart to God" so i did and then I got this (the picture) from God. I imagined that i was holding poor Rumpy in my hands then right when i handed him over to God he was happy, regular, and just normal Rumpy again and that just gave me a peace around me. In the morning we had a funeral service and I put this picture into his grave.
Im going to miss him SOO much :'( but i know i'll see him again one day and that hes with God.

I know that Rumpy would want me to get a new hamster, so i could provide for one of his friends. Im not gonna hold back my love but i will always remember Rumpy as my first hamster...

Die ADAC-Zentrale an der Hansastraße 23–25 im Münchner Stadtbezirk Sendling-Westpark wurde in den Jahren 2006 bis 2011 nach einem Entwurf des Berliner Architekturbüros Sauerbruch Hutton errichtet. Der Bezug des mit 93 Metern siebthöchsten Hochhauses der Stadt erfolgte im Dezember 2011, die Eröffnung am 22. März 2012.
Die Küche. Sie war mal sowas von modern mit der Brotschneidemaschine in der Versenkung. Ein halbes Jahrhundert Frühstückskaffee ☕️ oder Bubbert mit roter Soße 😋 Was das ist? Die Lok gehört dem Verein zum Erhalt und Betrieb des Dampftriebfahrzeugs 52.4984 in Wien. Fotografiert habe ich sie im Eisenbahnmuseum Heizhaus Strasshof.

Den Anlass für den Tag der offenen Baustelle gab die Gefrierkaverne 1300m südöstlich von Preda, dem Gebiet der Nordportale des alten und neuen Albulatunnels.
Diese Kaverne wurde nötig, weil das Gebirge in diesem Bereich, der Raibler-Rauwacke, quasi flüssig ist und unter hohem Druck steht, so dass ohne Hilfsmassnahmen kein Tunnel ausgebrochen werden könnte. Sie beginnt wenige Meter hinter der Kaverne, die noch im stabilen Albulagranit gebaut wurde.
In den äusseren Rohren wird -36° C kalte Kochsalzlösung in den Berg gepresst. Momentan fliesst diese mit etwa 33° C zurück. Ziel ist es, das Gebirge auf -10° C hinunter zu kühlen.
Im Schutze dieses gefrorenen Gebirges soll bis Ende Jahr der Tunnel durch diese Störzone vorgetrieben sein. Erst wenn das äussere und das innere Tunnelgewölbe eingebaut sind kann das Gebirge wieder aufgetaut werden.
Die Besucher wurden mit einem Shuttle durch den alten Tunnel in die Kaverne gebracht. Ein Querschlag verbindet hier die beiden Röhren, oder momentan besser gesagt noch die alte Röhre mit der Kaverne.
Sogar ein Glacewagen wurde für eine weitere Gratisverpflegung der Gäste in die Kaverne gebracht.

Nem sei o nome do esmalte... na verdade eu não lembro... Essa foto é de julho de 2007. Esse Dior lindinho aí é de uma amiga minha que mora "nazoropa" e veio me visitar... Ela trouxe com ela pra fazer as unhas enquanto estava aqui... a hora que eu olhei pra isso... rsrs surtei né... foi o primeiro esmalte importado que usei, e até hoje me lembro da experiência de usar apenas uma camada.... foi tãoo... tãooo.... tãooo xikeee que eu tirei uma foto rsrs
aliás, acho que foi a partir daí que comecei a tirar fotos dos esmaltes rsrs... Ela só não me deu o esmalte pq havia sido presente de aniversário.... snif snif snif... mas tive o gostinho de usar um Dior pelo menos uma vez na vida rsrs... Valeu Vanessa!!!!
