Viele Jahre lang war die Eisenbahnbrücke über die Aller bei Verden ein beliebtes Fotomotiv bei den Eisenbahnfotografen.
Das hat sich mit Fertigstellung der neuen Brücke allerdngs geändert, bleiben die Züge doch hinter hohen Brückenverkleidungen und Schallschutzwänden verborgen.
Aus der Luft sieht das Ganze dann schon wieder ganz anders aus.
Ein RE von Hannover nach Norddeich-Mole passiert das Bauwerk am 24.Juli 2019 bei brütender Hitze, die Reisenden im klimatisierten Zug wird das allerdings kaum gestört haben.

Sorrento is a town overlooking the Bay of Naples in Southern Italy. A popular tourist destination due to its variety of small antique shops and location on the Amalfi Coast, it can be reached easily from Naples and Pompeii as it is at the south-eastern end of the rail line. The town is most known for its small shops selling ceramics, lacework and woodwork. The Sorrentine Peninsula has views of Naples, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri. The Amalfi Drive, connecting Sorrento and Amalfi, is a narrow road that threads along the high cliffs above the Tyrrhenian Sea. Ferries and hydrofoils connect the town to Naples, Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Ischia. Sorrento's sea cliffs and luxury hotels have attracted celebrities including Enrico Caruso and Luciano Pavarotti. De St Francis Church in the heart of Sorrento is baroque and topped by a bulbous torenspits, it is bordered by a stunning cloister from the 13th century with capitals decorated with floral motifs supporting the interlaced arcades in the Sicilian-Arabic style. The courtyard is beautiful. The cloister is from the pagan era to the Middle Ages, and is a delightfully peaceful place to visit. Today we can visit Sophia Loren photo exhibition in the heart of Sorrento. Sophia Loren is awarded the honorary citizenship of Naples. We climbed the stairs to the exhibition. Sophia Loren is a famous and beautiful Italian actress and probably the last diva of that glittering world that is the cinema of the 50s and 60s. We enjoyed this wonderful exhibition of Sofia Loren.

We klommen de trap op naar de tentoonstelling. Sophia Loren is een beroemde en mooie Italiaanse actrice en waarschijnlijk de laatste diva van de schitterende filmwereld in de jaren 50 en 60. We hebben genoten van deze prachtige tentoonstelling van Sofia Loren.

Die 20km lange Bahnstrecke Herzogenburg - Krems ist schon seit Jahrzehnten für eine Elektrifizierung vorgesehen. Bis jetzt ist die Strecke aber davon verschont geblieben. Stattdessen regiert ein bunter Betrieb aus 5047, 5022 und 2016 mit Personen- als auch Güterzügen die Strecke.
An einem Abend Mitte Oktober streifte ich nördlich von Statzendorf durch die Weinberge und hoffte ich auf eine Wolkenlücke in der doch relativ dichten Wolkendecke. Eigentlich aussichtslos, aber diesen Herbst muss man nun mal ein bisschen hartnäckiger sein, wenn man ein wenigstens ein paar Sonnenbilder möchte. Und tatsächlich fand sich für die den 5047 029 und 044 als R44 6253 (St. Pölten Hbf - Langenlois) eine größere Wolkenlücke, die sogar die Landschaft etwas ausleuchtete.

Ein Sommertag am Mittelrhein bei Kaub. Die Wolken werfen tolle Schatten auf die Landschaft und geben der Szene mit dem Licht-Schattenspiel eine interessante Tiefe.
Die "Pfalz" mitten im Rhein wie im Scheinwerferlicht vor dem dunklem Hintergrund mit den Häusern von Kaub. Am Hang oberhalb von Kaub ist die Burg Gutenfels zu sehen.

Un jour d'été sur le Rhin moyen près de Kaub. Les nuages projettent de grandes ombres sur le paysage et donnent à la scène une profondeur intéressante avec le jeu d'ombre et de lumière.

Sie war offenbar Teil der Laxenburger Allee aus dem Jahr 1743 und hatte einen Stammdurchmesser von fast 1 m. Als bei einem Sturm vor einigen Jahren ein großer Ast abbrach, entschloss man sich den Baum zu fällen.
