Squirrels are insane. My kids brought home a bulrush from a pond we were visiting and left it on our deck. This squirrel thought it was the most wonderful thing ever - he grabbed it, hopped over to the neighbour's deck, and tore it to pieces, then tried to rub all the fluff off his fur.

The statue of Saturn (Kronos) eating his child in the Summer Garden in St. Petersburg is a striking and somewhat unsettling representation of the mythological figure Saturn, or Kronos, from ancient Roman and Greek mythology. This statue is part of a series of classical sculptures that were commissioned by Peter the Great in the early 18th century as part of the grand design of the Summer Garden, which was intended to reflect the tsar's admiration for classical antiquity and his vision of a more Westernized Russia.
The myth of Kronos (the Greek equivalent of Saturn) tells of how he swallowed his own children to prevent them from overthrowing him, as he had overthrown his own father, Uranus. This dark mythological story is represented in the statue, where Kronos is depicted in the act of devouring one of his children.
