Welcome to a night in the office from hell.
It’s 1983 and in an abandoned workplace in the Midlands, two solitary clerical workers sit down at their desks to begin a routine night shift. But as the evening creeps into the night, a confidential file is accidentally opened and a quietly horrifying secret is unleashed. A secret that’ll soon turn their lives of rotas, packed lunches and fag breaks violently upside down and the workers, against each other.
A fantasy thriller with a pounding 1980s soundtrack, Stoke-on-Trent’s Potboiler Theatre invite you to a world of ruthless ambition, desperate escapism and deeply held desires: a world of Devotion.

Lazy Saturday morning at the farmers market
I loved this challenge becuase I enjoy bargain shopping and finding hidden gems. I relish the opportunity to dig through my inventory and create new looks with items I forget I had. Styling on a budget is important for many avi and as we can see tons of fab looks can be created if you use your imagination.

We talk until our lips are parched
We spill the secrets we've concealed
Like diligent soldiers our words are marched
Into the space between us, this darkened field
Our stories, they flood, they rush

To find ourselves in the angst-ridden tone
Yet it always shakes us with surprise
To find that we are not alone
We are not the first to feel these things
Not the first to wonder why
We aren't the only birds with broken wings
Trying to remember how to fly
But if we look too close we hate
To see the shattered self-esteem
To know that in too many ways we relate
To each other's bitterness and broken dream
So we don't look to hard in case we find
That up close we are ugly
We fear to see ourselves in another's mind
The imperfection of me in you and you in me
Lead performer from the Rathyatra (ancient Hindu festival remembering birth of God Krishna) seems to have hit the right note of bhakthi.
