We held a Pirates Meet Aliens Picnic on 4 August. It was as crazy as it sounds but great fun. The children came dressed up. A lovely person in the town made cakes full of treasure (ok, sweets) for the children - thank you Mrs Duncan. While the children ate their picnic, we read them space and pirate stories.
