Numerous dust devil tracks can be seen on top of the ejecta of an unnamed crater in Syria Planum. Image information: VIS instrument. Latitude -8.6N, Longitude 257.6E. 18 meter/pixel resolution. Note: this THEMIS visual image has not been radiometrically nor geometrically calibrated for this preliminary release. An empirical correction has been performed to remove instrumental effects. A linear shift has been applied in the cross-track and down-track direction to approximate spacecraft and planetary motion. Fully calibrated and geometrically projected images will be released through the Planetary Data System in accordance with Project policies at a later time.

Devil's slide is an area inside a Nature Conservency project in the Nachez township. This is a project my parents are very involved in that will complete a swath of protected lands from the columbia river to the cascade crest. Very pretty.
This area is apparently a popular hangout for Mountain Goats, although we didn't see any. The land being purchased for this project is also habitat to Big Horn Sheep and 35 other recognized species. It is also a crucial part of the migratory path of about 2500 local Elk.
The Devils Marbles is a large field of boulders in the central Australian desert of the Northern Territory. There is an overnight camping area and it is wonderful to experience sunset and sunrise amongst the huge stones. The site is known as Karlu Karlu to the land's Aboriginal traditional owners.
there has been a huge invasion of these things here this year, I guess now there will be twice as many next year.

Deviled eggs or eggs mimosa are hard-boiled eggs cut in half and filled with the hard-boiled egg's yolk mixed with different ingredients. Deviled eggs are usually served cold. They are served as a side dish, appetizer or a main course, and are a common holiday or party food.
Devil Duckie, you're the one,
You make bathtime lots of fun,
Devil Duckie, I'm awfully dirty today.
(woh, woh, bee day!)
Devil Duckie, when you float,
It's like bathing in a flaming moat!
Devil Duckie, you're my very best friend, hooray!
(Doo, doo, doo, dee day!)
Every day when I
Make my way to get clean
I find a swashbucklin'
loot plundering fiend
(Rub-a-dub-keen!)
Devil Duckie you're so swell,
you guide me on the path to hell,
Devil Duckie, I'm awfully dirty-
Devil Duckie, you're a naughty birdy-
Devil Duckie, I'm awfully dirty today.
