Found throughout the US in thickets. (Blue Bell Park) Leaves consist of sometimes more than 100 leaflets. Toothed. Wider at base. Parallel veins. Trunks have classic stout thorns.

Last day of our holiday so we took a walk up to Llyn Idwal to see the Devils Kitchen.

Natural spring. The sand patterns change constantly as thw water courses up through the sand. Lots of sulfur in the water leaves orange stains and spoiled egg smell.
