NASA DEVELOP National Program, DEVELOP Day at NASA Langley to recognize DEVELOP's 20th Anniversary

Developed 2019 in Kodak XTOL, stock strength

This is what we often see in Taiwan - all kinds of parking by a road/in an alley, in our daily life. Yes, it looks crowded, and unorganized, yet we managed to make it through... :-)

.

PS - This roll was done on 2014/2/17, developed by a local studio (五色鳥) on 2014/2/19, and scanned with "Epson Perfection V600 Photo" on 2014/2/27.

I developed my drawings and research into samples. The sample on the top left was made using bondaweb to attach dog treat wrappers onto lace, to form the word walkies which is recognised by my dog. I also stitched into these to make sure they were on securely. I then hand embroidered the shape of my dog's favourite toy and to embellish this further I added some beads to the centre of the flowers on the lace within the toy.

The second sample of the top right was made using the tjap technique. I printed the shape of paw prints using wax onto polycotton and then used batik paint to add colour to the background: leaving the shapes of the paw prints in white. I embellished this sample using beads, and showed the change in colour of the background through the way I beaded the paw prints.

The bottom left sample was made by trapping wool, dog treat wrappers and wrapping paper in a plastic pocket. I cut the wrappers into shapes which represented my dog to make it more interesting and then embellished it further by adding zig zag stitch to the wool and embroidery and beading to the paw and bone shapes.

The forth sample was made by printing off a collage of pictures of my dog and the Dogs Trust we rehomed him from. I then transferred this onto polycotton and quilted it by using zig zag stitching around the pictures in different colours to frame them. I also used free embroidery to stitch into the pictures to show the scruffy effect of his hair.

First attempts at developing with Rollei Colorchem C-41

This is from my first attempt at developing color film. The first roll was expired and developed awfully, scaring me. But this came out ok. Maybe not great, but it's a start. I'm just excited that I developed color!

My very first BW roll developed at home. Not as bad as I expected, it's really easy... It took me 2 1/2 hours from preparing the developer to scan the whole roll.

El primer rollo en blanco y negro que revelo en casa. Mas fácil de lo que yo pensaba. Dos horas y media desde que mezclé el revelador hasta escanearlo entero.

I developed this film using QWD ECN-2 chemistry. It's a long story about a gift of 4 Silbersalz rolls that should have included developing and scanning back in Stuttgart. Instead, the film took a round trip from New York to Frankfurt, getting stuck in German customs for months with indifferent support from Silbersalz. So upon their return to me, I developed and scanned them myself. QWD makes a great product for home development of Vision3.
