Kapil dev is one of them most influential names in Indian cricket, he is considered to be one of the greatest cricketing all rounder’s of all time, he is widely celebrated for leading the Indian team to victory in the year 1983. He was one of the main bowlers of the Indian team for a very long time, he used to trick batsmen with his classic swing. He was also a skilled batsman, with an amazing driving skills. He was born as Kapil Dev Nikhanj to his father Ram Lal Nikhanj, a prominent timber merchant and to his mother, Raj Kumari Ram Lal Nikhanj in Chandigarh, India on 6 January 1959, they were a middle class family. The Wisden named Kapil dev as the Indian cricketer of the century on the year 2002.
