Uluru–Sky Australis D4SC1max standard Red+Blue
This proposition takes on findings or recent design tests based on a full polychrome palette (max 6); dividing 4 divisions of field with gold horizon diamond (fimbriation); Uluru arc for abstract Earth + Sky references to the 'Great Southern Land' of (terra australis) and previous designers (Hundertwasser 1986 and Mark Tucker 1993 for Ausflag); an original dynamic Southern Cross device integrating a Commonwealth Star "as an Epsilon" – intentionally bending Rules of Tincture (white on gold) to intensify the axial centre focus – with horizontal and vertical symmetry; innovative use of Green + Gold (National Colours) as upper feature, Blue (warm-purple or french-blue) + Red (Ochre-Orange or standard-red), to hang in tandem beside ATSI flags, while symbolising inclusivity, cultural diversity and an aspirational neutrality.
NOTE: The "visual" merging of the 7 point Federation Star with the 4 point gold axis references acknowledgment of the Eureka Flag 8 point star motif as our earliest flag devised by late colonial Australians).

We decided that the more artistically-inclined amongst us should paint something inside the library as a focal point of learning for the students. And we decided that a world map it would be!
Someone commented that this world map is only accurate if it was millions of years ago, when the continents were pretty mixed up. Oh well.

At one point, I decided to make a guitar in my moldmaking class as a final project. We were to fabricate an object out of high-density urethane foam, make a mold of it and cast it. Might as well utilize the 1-2 inch thick foam boards which are just about the thickness of a guitar.
I somewhat drew inspiration from my first project, the headcrab with its four legs, and certain spiders to come up with something completely unergonomical. I used my old Yamaha RGS 121 as a base model and I'm building around that so I don't really have control over the headstock and fretboard design. I haven't yet decided on a paint job.
You can't go to Vienna and not see something by Hundertwasser. The Kunst Haus was established on the basis of the philosophy and artistic principles of the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 –2000). The building itself, formerly the Thonet furniture factory, was architecturally remodelled according to Hundertwasser's own designs.

This is an IQ Light stencil made with tabs that should spiral smoothly down to a point. This is based on the stencil by Lennart Poettering, but modified to give spiral joints. To do this I shaped the tabs according to this picture, which is what I got from "whirling" five radial lines in The Gimp.
Note: If you want the panels to bend less, shrink this image vertically a little bit.
