Well what do you know! Another new image, all far too much excitement at once, certainly not used to this...
Myself and Mike Muddyboots decided to head up to the Lakes for the day, the weather hadn't looked great but at least there was some rain so there fore there would be clouds and not boring old plain blue skies like we have sadly had so much of of late, the idea was to look for breaks in the weather, scope a few places out, and I could also fly my drone at a couple of locations if the weather allowed.
After the unique expereince of sitting outside a pub in Boot eating steak pie, Chips, and Veg in the rain with no shelter we headed over to Hardknott Fort and Wasdale.
I'd been meaning to shoot this little boathouse for a while, and whilst the weather didn't look the best I just wanted to go and have a look for a return visit so we took the walk in, upon arrival the colours that were there were extremely vivid Spring Greens, absolutely superb, I've actually had to reduce the yellows a little from what was captured to stop them appearing illuminous!
The rain had stopped but the water was far from still, every now and again it would get close but then just ripple up again, I set up and flew the drone for a while while somebody 'rested' off their Steak Pie on the riverbank, I just waited it out, I think we were here about an hour to an hour and a half and eventually got a nice still shot with light falling onto the vibrant foliage to the rear, along with a cloud laden sky, the underwater plants here are really interesting as well so I wanted to bring them into the shot.
A great day out and an image I'm pleased with as something different.

NEW!!!! CHAI. PILLOW COLLECTIONS
WALLFLOWER • BARAKA • DEPTH
You don’t have to be loud to be powerful.
The new CHAI. pillow collections—WALLFLOWER, BARAKA, and DEPTH—are soft-spoken stories of texture, feeling, and presence. Designed not just to adorn, but to listen. To the hush of your breath after a long day, to the way your body leans without permission, to the emotions that fill a room without needing to speak.
Each collection is a tactile meditation:
— WALLFLOWER, with its playful geometrics and organic motifs, celebrates the quiet strength of the unnoticed.
— BARAKA, meaning “blessing,” is grounded in earthy tones and tribal echoes, drawing energy from ancestral memory and intentional stillness.
— DEPTH invites you to sink in—to emotions, to introspection, to the circular rhythm of life lived authentically.
This weekend, CHAI. invites you to slow down and be wrapped in softness that sees you, hears you, and holds space for all that you are.

Another dreadful pun for the #FlickrFriday theme #DepthOfField. Braille dots are there to be felt. This is a randomly chosen page from my Braille primer. I don't often read Braille, but it is a convenient way to type text on an iPhone screen.

Street and Reportage photography from Glasgow, Scotland. This was the Friday School Strike in George Square, Glasgow, as part of the climate change movement started by Greta Thunberg.
A hundred and more school children were engaged in good-natured chanting and singing in full voice directly opposite Glasgow City Hall, and guarded by a line of police officers who did not take too kindly to me walking in the road to get these shots (even though I was moving past stationary traffic).
Enjoy!

Life is like farming. You sew the seeds. You water and fertilize. You harvest long after everything is done properly with help of weather. Likewise career, family and relationship. You get the result after long time with patience,
How do you know it is time to harvest?
We have practiced photography for ten years, twenty years or even thirty years. How do we know it is time to harvest i,e, we can get good pictures now?
I passed by the farm on Steveston Highway and saw the harvest behind the fence.
Have a great Thanksgiving long weekend friends!

I believe that there is beauty in each and every one of us. The difference is simply a matter of depth. Beauty connects us and depth separates us. Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead - stay safe, warm and dry and keep those shutters clicking!
We had a late April snowfall yesterday. My flowers don't seem to be any worse for the wear today. I tried a new Photoshop Beta Filter on this shot and kind of like the way it turned out.
