Spent several hours in this Redwood grove with my beautiful wife Candace soaking up the sun and trying to make an image that didn’t suck. Not sure I succeeded, but at least the light turned out nice.

After the storm the river is flowing higher than usual, a lot a debris can be seen everywhere. Taken using LEE filters landscape polariser, LEE Little Stopper and 1.2 soft grad filter.

While taking cover from the imminent ballistic missile attack this past weekend in Hawaii (/s), I decided to revisit taking a shot I did a while back before the purchase of 16 stops of neutral density filters. I think they make a big difference.
Sunset and an abandoned red farmhouse in the carpenter gothic / rural gothic architectural style. The faux brick asphalt siding is deteriorating. The house has a tin roof and lightening rods.
One second exposure with a Hoya NDX8 three stop solid neutral density filter and a Lee Seven5 0.3 ND soft grad.
RAZED SUMMER 2018
With the ever-present obsession to condo-ize every last inch of Vancouver, it was inevitable the fairies would soon follow suit.
Cotterdale Beck splits the rocks apart at Cotter Force on its unstoppable journey towards the River Ure. A snowy, cold day requiring plenty of layers to keep me warm and patience with the sporadic snow fall. Wouldn't swap it for the world though! A couple of hours easily spent with only the occasional deer for company.

Les textures granuleuses du métal et du bois, les reflets sur les maillons de la chaîne. L'ouverture à travers laquelle s'infiltre la sensation de l'espace lumineux. La profondeur fuyante, qui dissous les matières, efface la densité, notamment celle du métal, dans l'espace brumeux au-delà d'une porte close.
