I was really jonesing for some ramen, but either because of it being Monday or because of America's long fight against racism, the ramen place I wanted to go to was closed. Womp womp.
Stupid Mondays. I never seem to have interesting plans on Mondays. So lacking anything better to do, I went for a little walk up and down the Loop and took a few pictures with my 85mm. The hope was that I could take some interesting street-photography type shots, but it turns out the Loop's basically empty at 9pm on Mondays in January. Ohwell.
After the racial unrest in St. Louis, MO over the past week. In the background is a boarded-up window with an artistic image painted upon it. The photographer of this image was fortunate enough to capture a passerby connecting with the painting.
Bridget hadn't ever been to Fitz's. That's okay, though, because it turns out Fitz's has mediocre chicken strips. The burger that Bridget ordered was pretty tasty, though.
Afterwards, we drove the van (which I'd been borrowing for moving purposes) back to my parents because my dad needed to use it. I should go steal that back now that dad's done with it.
