Trolley 002 preparing to leave it's stop behind the Missouri History Museum in St. Louis, Mo. (200511)*
I thought I would post a photo of Chuck Berry's statue since it is in University City, where I live. Across the street is the Blueberry Hill where he played regularly until last year.

My original plan was to photograph the STL-henge yesterday evening. Everything seemed perfect until I got board on a Metro train heading to downtown. A mountain of cloud moved in and totally eclipsed the setting sun. I saw some mammatus clouds through the narrow opening of the downtown street, but did not realize it was a supercell storm with a photogenic wall of clouds (I later saw pictures taken by my friends). So I missed the long-plan henge, as well as an unexpected storm. I decided to treat myself a nice dinner for this frustrating day. When I turned onto Delmar Boulevard, several lightning strikes stroke from the night sky all the way to the ground. I quickly pulled my car over and rushed to the middle of the street. I was able to capture several more strikes in the next 15 minutes, but only this one hit the "right" place.
