Finally, this nice little 135 Twin Lens Reflex plastic camera created from scratch by Superheadz will arrive Hong Kong exclusively at city'super/LOGON in Oct/Nov!

I knew about this from Superheadz since last year and they've been sending prototypes to selected photographers around the world for testing and testing and testing. In addition to their 110 cute cameras, this will make history in the world of toy camera. Drooling to play with it for a long time, finally I received a sample this August. Obviously Superheadz took tremendous effort to make it perfect before they are comfortable giving me a sample to try. I've seen Hiruma san on Tokyo's street talking on the phone in sweat with the manufacturer because of the flood in China back in July, which explains the delay in release.

During this launch, only 3 colors will appear in the market. Black, Orange and Blue. But I've seen other colors in their office back in July, red, brown and yellow. In addition, somewhere on Flickr I saw white too.

The most amazing things I like about BBF is built-in film counter (no more camera backs/adaptors), removable film masks to create sprocket holes effect and square photos, not to mention a hot shoe for flash. Instantly tons of things to play with just like Holga or even more. I'm so glad both LOMO and Superheadz are now deviating their paths further by doing things other than the most popular Holga, differentiating from each other instead of competing with fancy packaging and Holga accessories only. LOMO's new path is with Diana, while Superheadz with 110 cameras and BBF.

The Plastic Lens' Artpunk already has several preview articles about BBF's features here, here and here. Thanks Artpunk!

I've created a "Black Bird Fly" camera and photos Flickr group so if you have photos taken by BBF or photos of your beloved BBF, please go there and share/discuss! I can't wait to see how my photos are developed, will soon share.

The delayed 1M42 1045 Bournemouth - Manchester Piccadilly. formed of a Cross Country Class 220 Voyager, weaves along the down slow as it departs from Banbury on 21st July 2016. The track circuit failure which plagued Banbury all afternoon was to inflict a 95 minute delay on this service, which was eventually terminated short at Birmingham New Street. Banbury North signal box shows signs of alteration with the bricked up windows, with closure due on 30th July. When at Banbury note that all the new installations are placed on raised platforms, for good reason, as the benign River Cherwell next to the railway has been known to flood the entire area. Over the last few months have bought a lot of books I haven't got around to reading - here are some, next to my chair. My excuse used to be that I was working, but now that I'm doing less of that, why haven't I read them? Flickr's the problem. I spend far too much time looking at all those lovely pictures. I take a book to bed with me, but then I fall asleep while reading it. I carry a book in my bag so I can read it over a coffee in town, and then I start people-watching instead. Anyway, there are some really good books here (an eclectic mix), so maybe the computer will have a rest for a while.

After a 4 hour layover, my plane's one of three on the whole schedule delayed. I just wanna be home and sleeping at this point.

THANK YOU for all your lovely comments, invitations & awards.

(Derelict motel, Toronto... )

yup, this morning was a late start, so we got a 2 hour delay thing at school. but i only got to sleep in 1 extra hour because my dad called the house and the ringing woke me up. then my dad came home and we went out to eat at the CORNER STORE :)) gotta love that place hahaha. i payed. then we went to radio shack to fix some phone-problems, and then we went to henniker to complete my passport process, and then he drove me to school. i missed my french quiz and i also missed my chem. teacher lighting sh!t on fire, but the rest of the day went by pretty nicely. so then after school, i hung out with alexa for a bit, and also hung out with sean and theo in the library for a little bit, and then i had a meeting about New Hampshire Scholars after school, and thennn my mum finally let me drive with her, but she felt sick the whole ride home hahah. so when i got home i went out to the little river place in the woods in my backyard and took some pics...i waded through the water a little, which surprisingly went up to my knees in some places haha and i got wet :P so here's me, on a rock, by the rapids hahah. ohhh lots happened today i guess haha then my brother curtis and i went to "the coffee house" which is sorta like an open mic thing that you sign up for and it's a bunch of old hippies singing folk songs and it was really nice. curtis sang wheat kings, iowa, and that song that adam sandler plays in the last scene of the wedding singer when he proposes. it was nice. theo and his gf rose came to support him as well as sam and larry :) haha it was really nice

My plane was delayed with progressive estimates, eventually it left about 5.5 hours late. Air travel tends to be like that, though.

Kosovo Prime Minister and the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Hashim Thaci, has visited today Gjilan, to view closely the progress of the campaign registration of membership in the PDK, which is estimated to top party and government structures in Gjilan for work they are doing. Despite the fact that the city of Gjilan (eastern part of Kosovo) did not have enough partisans for his reception, he spoke not worried, "Citizens do believe to the good jobs" Thaci told reporters today. Postwar years, Hashim Thaci identified as, former political leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) has enjoyed great support from the citizens of eastern and southeastern parts of Kosovo, but now after 10 years, he is no longer a very dear person for the citizens of this side, despite the fact that Mr. Thaci, not magnificent presence of the sympathizers were try to justify with the great warm weather that has been today when he was visiting the town of Gjilan. Sources within the party of Mr. Thaci said for BPA, that due to lack of great participation of the citizens of Gjilan, arrival of Prime Minister Thaci warned at the time of the 12:00 '/h, was not realized by the re-duration time of his arrival an hour later, this delay which officially has been argued because of heavy traffic developments in the roadway from Ferizaj to Gjilan.

After being foiled by traffic delays, phone calls and one cloudy day, I finally made it to Smith Point Park bridge in time to catch the sun as it began its descent into the horizon. I was able to capture pictures from under the bridge with a 300 mm equivalent fast lens - without any filters on all of them - for pictures that look more like paintings, in their golden yellow brightness. The later images were taken with a slower 500 mm equivalent lens (no tripod or filter also) and that coupled with the sun lower in the sky ensured totally fantastic shades of red. You can make out planes overhead and boats below in some of the photos.

This is the scene FIVE HOURS after our take-off time from SYD to LAX. The Qantas computer system deleted everyone's records, so the entire jet of passengers had to be manually re-entered (I waited 2.5 hours just to check my suitcase). Then, when most of us had boarded, the new records were re-deleted. So, most of us sat in our seats on the plane for 5 hours, and not because there was anything was wrong with the plane. Then, they had to retrieve baggage from the hold for passengers who got off the plane and gave up on flying that day, which took another half hour. The Qantas staff were very unhelpful and uninformative throughout the whole thing, especially when we reached LAX after our 15 hours of flying and almost everyone needed to be re-booked for ongoing flights we had missed. They had one, single ground staff member available to re-direct about 300 passengers. Pathetic.

It was a terrible way to end a wonderful vacation.

Temple visited, tea had, it was time to leave. Or is it? It was pouring down in buckets! We have to walk through that canopy straight ahead, then turn left, exit the temple and them begin our long 45min walk down the hill. (Pune/ Poona, July 2007)

I have emailed hiviz with my problem, but in the meantime hears a photo of how I have it wired right now. my problem is that when I test fire it I can only get one burst from my flash on post one and then I have to reset it all to do it again, on post two with test fire I get nothing. I used the replacement resistors that came with it for a canon flash since I'm using a canon 580ex flash other than that I just followed online instructions. thanks for taking the time to look.

The 12th running of the Fields of Athenry 10km took place on St. Stephen's Day, December 26th 2013 at 11:00 in Athenry, Co. Galway, Ireland. Due to the very icy and frosty conditions for health and safety considerations the race start was delayed by a half an hour and started at the slightly later time of 11:30. The winter sun began to rise high into the sky and the earlier icy roads thawed sufficiently to allow for road racing and avoid a potential abandonment of the event. This worked out perfectly and the conditions were perfect for road racing. This follows on from the near apocalyptic rain conditions for the race last year.

This is one of the leading 10KM road races in Ireland. It is hard to believe that the race is "only" twelve years old. It's superb organisation, atmosphere, and great race history gives it the characteristic of a race that is many years older. The credit for this goes to the wonderful athletics club in Athenry AC and the Race Director for 2013 Frank Burke and his team of volunteers. The attention to every detail in the race which this year attracted over 1,200 participants means that the race has earned it's stripes as one of the leading road races in Ireland. This year the race coupled with Athenry Tidy Towns Committee. A contribution from the proceeds from this year's race will be made to support the work of the Tidy Town Committee.

The race started at the Railway station and then took in a loop of the famous fields of Athenry where it turns left and begins it's return to the town, passing the soccer club, over the railway lines, and finishing under the medival arch in Athenry town for a fittingly atmospheric finish to the race. Race HQ is in the Presentation College in Athenry. Post race showers, prize giving ceremony, and refreshments were provided in the College after the race.

We have a very extensive set of photographs from this year's event. The link to the full set of photographs on this Flickr photostream is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/11553763974/. There are some photographs of the race start and photographs of the race finish from the 1st across the line until the 55 minutes finish time.

Can I use these photographs directly from Flickr on my social media account?

Yes - of course you can. Flickr provides several ways to share this and other photographs in this Flickr set. You can share to: email, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, LiveJournal, and Wordpress and Blogger blog sites. Your mobile device will also offer you several different options for sharing this photo page on your social media outlets.

How can I get full resolution copies of these photographs?

All of the photographs posted here on this Flickr set are available free, at no cost, at full image resolution. We take these photographs as a hobby and as a contribution to the running community in Ireland. Our only "cost" is our request that if you are using these images without the watermark: (1) on social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, Twitter,LinkedIn, Google+, etc or (2) other websites, blogs, web multimedia, commercial/promotional material that you must provide a link back to our Flickr page to attribute us.

This also extends the use of these images for Facebook profile pictures. In these cases please make a separate wall or blog post with a link to our Flickr page. If you do not know how this should be done for Facebook or other social media please email us and we will be happy to help suggest how to link to us.

Please email petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com with the links to the photographs you would like to obtain a full resolution copy of. We also ask race organisers, media, etc to ask for permission before use of our images for flyers, posters, etc. We reserve the right to refuse a request.

In summary please remember when requesting photographs from us - all we ask is for you to provide a link back to our Flickr set or Flickr pages. You will find the link above clearly outlined in the description text which accompanies this photograph. Taking these photographs and preparing them for online posting does take a significant effort. We are not posting photographs to Flickr for commercial reasons. If you really like what we do please spread the link around your social media, send us an email, leave a comment beside the photographs, send us a Flickr email, etc.

If you would like to contribute something for your photograph(s)?

Many people offer payment for our photographs. As stated above we do not charge for these photographs. We take these photographs as our contribution to the running community in Ireland. If you feel that the photograph(s) you request are good enough that you would consider paying for their purchase from other photographic providers we would suggest that you can provide a donation to any of the great charities in Ireland who do work for Cancer Care or Cancer Research in Ireland.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera

►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.

Don't like your photograph here?

That's OK! We understand!

If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.

I want to tell people about these great photographs!

Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets

The US government has invented new words - sequestration and furloughs and they have been the talk of the town and all over the news whilst I have been in Buffalo. I am not certain what these words mean but I translate them as synonyms for chaos, delays and cancellations. It was repeatedly announced by very nice staff at both Buffalo Niagara Airport and JFK in NY, and by the pilots and cabin crews on the planes that if we were unhappy with the delays that were caused then we should write to our senators... can some please tell me who the US senator for Rugby, England is?

Sorry for not getting to your streams and photos for a couple of days, I will try and catch up with comments as I catch up with posting.
