Mechanical issue have delayed pickup. Harvesting machines are being run into the ground to get product to market early this year. Shaking in the lower state started 2 weeks early (last week in July) this year. And given the dropping prices and the fact most importing countries, except India, orders are at least 20% below last year. Farmers (the ones that don't drink the Coolaid) are reporting up to 30% less yield due to reductions in amendments and other cost cutting efforts in anticipation of the tariffs. Europe, always egocentric, has decided that they have 3 billion pounds in inventory and that we need to lower our prices another 20% to compensate for the tariff. How nice of them. Business doesn't work based on manipulations, incompetence, non-truth and out right lies. Kind of like living off what you read on faux propaganda.

There was a 3 hour weather delay so I was extremely disappointed because I was hoping to get more normal shots in the daytime. The Bands finally began making there way down. By 8pm, you could barely walk or see anything because the area is so crowded so I just messed around with lighting effects. :)

Rescheduled departure: 9:15
Re-rescheduled departure: 7:15
Fortunately they gave us vouchers when they thought it would be 9:15, and everyone went to the nearby bar and spent it on microbrewery beer. (Incidentally, they have a 'Polygamy Porter' in the bar here. Awesome!)
