I have some ideas but nothing definite. I'm going to try and get back to them over the next few days, to see if I can get a better photo and spore colour. Does anyone have any ideas? I was exploring the idea that they may be Cortinarius violaceus, or some kind of chunky stemmed Leptonia. I am at a loss for now. I bet someone out there recognises it - it's probably really common, but you never know :)
great thanks to Natali, who didn't refuse to be a model for my photos!!! I'm sure she has good chances for success in model business!
величезне спасибі Наталі, яка не відмовилась мені позувати для фотографій!!! Переконаний, у неї високі шанси для успіху в модельному бізнесі!
If she were any more a girl, she'd burst at the seams. A wonderful little female Carolina mantis, doing her part to ensure the future security of her species in the area.
No, definitely not.
Horsing around during the parkour conditioning outing to Watcom Falls Park in Washington on April 20, 2008.
Day after surgery sitting up and a smile, much better than he been the previous two days. He complained more about the needles in his hands than his stomach.
Photo's from my Bachelor Party 24 November 2012.
Thanks again to Grant Johnson for the work behind the camera.
This wrap around skirt was passed on to me quite a few years ago and the print is definitely rather 70s inspired. I believe it was actually handmade as well, but I'm not sure by whom. I made the sleeveless top myself out of material that was also given to me. It's a favorite color of mine and I love the yoked neckline. The shawl/poncho is another secondhand piece (and also "boho"), but I must have removed the tag - I have no idea where it's from. So, my outfit has no great brand names today. ;)
The jewelry I made myself a few years back and the wedge shoes have long been favorites (any shoe that makes me nearly 6 feet tall is awesome :).
Definitely cool car for modern life. I prefer the GTI Golf, but I'd still take a Passat (of course!)
Sitting on the bus returning from Halong Bay to Hanoi I thought the style of driving was a mix of madness & thrilling.
But once you get used to their driving it is safer than most '1st World' countries. The difference being that in Vietnam drivers compromise and consider everyone else. If a driver flashes traffic coming towards him it is a clear indicative he is coming through and the 'opposing' traffic moves over to allow safe passing - they don't hug the white line to play chicken with the other driver. Over our time in Vietnam & Cambodia I came to respect their give way attitude that kept traffic continuously moving and definitely more efficient & safer than western driving.
