It's always easy and convenient to live like grass or worms -since to become
a spirit that can dance by itself is hard, or very hard, or both, or even more... ;>).

Definitely out of place on my photostream, lol, but thought I'd add this photo (macro) of a Nuts and Bolts puzzle that I picked up from the Lee Valley Tools store three days ago. Maybe an inch and a half tall. "All" you have to do is remove both bolts, which, of course, is harder than it looks. Would make a neat "stocking stuffer." I have collected metal (and other) puzzles for many years and actually have a small wall in my hallway covered in copper wire puzzles, which look quite attractive.
The Postcard
A postally unused Comic Series postcard that was published in the mid 1960's by Bamforth & Co. Ltd. of Holmfirth, Yorkshire. The artwork is by Taylor.
The card, which has a divided back, was printed in England.
Bamforth & Co. (1870-1990)
James Bamforth began his career as a manufacturer of lantern slides. In 1890 he started production of illustrated song lyric slides that audiences could sing along to at shows. This quickly became his most popular selling item. In the years following, the Company became the largest producer of life model slides.
From this vast photo inventory Bamforth began to publish a variety of postcard types including comics, greetings, propaganda, real photos and views, but especially song sets, many of which were reproduced from lantern slide images.
Today they are best remembered for their series of saucy seaside postcards, which may have numbered close to a 100,000 different titles. While this series was begun in 1902, they did not become very popular until the 1930’s.
In 1906 Bamforth opened a New York Office at 35 West 21st. Street. By 1910 they had become a Limited company. The Company was sold to E. T. W. Dennis, but in 2000 the rights to their images were purchased by Ian Walker.
Definitely August. Just about every window has two to four of the marbled orb spider taking advantage of the light in the house attracting insects.
Double Room
Definitely a hotel with character, located in New Dubai at Ibn Battuta Gate which was named after a 14th century, Arabic explorer. The large Ibn Battuta shopping mall is just opposite.
All 396 spacious hotel rooms are in Moroccan style, while the suites are themed on African, Asian, Middle Eastern and southern European countries - all visited by Ibn Battuta.
The hotel is operated by Mövenpick.
Definitely the best bus stop I've ever come across! On its screen you can view live, real time information on bus services, as well as all of Metrobus' timetables for the routes that serve the stop, the route maps, the East Grinstead town map and the Metrobus network map!
When seen here, the stop was served by routes 280, 281 and 409. Surrey CC Bus Review phase 2 would see the 281 extended northwards from here to Lingfield, replacing a section of the 409. The commercial town service, 280, which carried fresh air, got the chop.
Quarry Rise, Stone Quarry Estate, East Grinstead, West Sussex.
These are dinosaurs made by a company called Playskool. Part of their Definitely Dinosaurs line. Some of these small ones came in kids' meals at Wendy's in the 1980's.

Apologies for so many Purple Emperor uploads but I was trying to clear a backlog before I go away. This individual showed the brightest flash of purple I have ever seen on a Purple Emperor.
Definitely a locals' pub, and only just still around, it looks like. Indeed, as of May 2009, it is now very much closed and boarded, and since demolished.

Oh, there's a long story behind this that is probably only funny to our table at bauhaus last night. And maybe the cute guy in the Beatles shirt that was obviously eavesdropping on our conversation while frantically text messaging. But yeah, take my word for it, it was hilarious, if only in a caffeine induced weekday high kind of way.
Definitely not for the faint of heart, this is quite a loud key cap set. My order included the following:
- Alpha Set
- Modifier Set
- Tsangan Set
- Numberpad Set
It also included two "Hapster" keys and two Geek Hack keys.
Seen at Bressingham this summer. Drewry 0-6-0 no. 11103, later to be D2203 sporting a Yarmouth South Town shed plate.

If you work in a school with 7th and 8th graders, there comes a time in the school year when there is a palpable change and you know it's spring. Well, this week left no doubt!

Definitely inspired by the beautiful cinematography showcased in Tree of Life. It also helped that a lot of the highrise shots were actually taken in Dallas.
The waiting was definitely worth it. After nearly two years, we had our first introduction to the #Saudi culture by the most warm-hearted, passionate women. This group of women are driven by the desire to share the Arabic language. They opened their heart and home to us. (Music and dance take place mostly privately. Yet, music is often shared by show off teenage boys who drive their parents cars.)
So, listened to hip-moving Arabic music and had traditional #hejazi food on the floor.
The best part, saw also my first live dance performance!
A traditional male,
sword-dance, performed by colourful women.
A beautiful shift is blooming. Saudi women are coming out in their very OWN terms.
No religious prejudice nor western ignorance can influence this within growing. 💓

Peanut butter & jam base topped with icing made with more Jiff PB, cream cheese, banana & cinnamon (and some toffee fudge sauce & butterscotch chips!). Yummm!
Finally a model shoot, these a definitely my favorite type of shoots, and they're 100% better when you shoot with someone that knows absolutely what they are doing
Her name is Letitia, its Latin, don't get it confused ha. She knew absolutely what to do with minimal instructions

We started at 6 am and the shoot went to around 12 pm.
Had a couple of incidents during the shoot as always, one of my wireless receivers hot shoe just broke off, so I shot all natural light this entire shoot. My skills were definitely tested throughout the day; it was a massive challenge battling shadows every which way.
I've finally got a chance to go through the pictures and I personally think I could have done ALOT better, but this was for fun, she had tons of fun and i got tons of learning experience.
We shall be working close together and should have another set up some time next month, stay tuned!
