Clive Pig, the Storyfella, is a storyteller like no other. Using masks & music, puppetry & song, you’ll hear some familiar old chestnuts as well as some more unusual tales. His original & dynamic delivery of world stories appeals to young & old, making him a popular performer at festivals, schools & art centres.
Jackie Juno is a writer and creatrix of multi-media shows which combine her comedic, singing, dancing and artistic talents to full effect. Although Birmingham-born, she has now made a full recovery, having moved to Devon in 1983, and spent years living
close to the earth in a travelling community. She has appeared at Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD, Hammersmith Palais, Hackney Empire, Melkweg Amsterdam
and Gidleigh Village Hall. (Twice).
Photo shoot with Elfic the Jester (http://www.elfic.org.uk) on 5th April 2011.
Rupert Elford, (a.k.a. Elfic the Jester and Professor Elfic), graduated in 1988 from Bristol University with a BSc in Chemistry and an ability to juggle. However his passion for circus skills and performance gravitated him towards a career in entertainment. After countless hours of obsessive practice and a stint at Cicus School, Rupert mastered the arts of toppling off tightropes, wobbling on unicycles and juggling dangerous objects.
His alter ego, Elfic the Jester was born in 1992 and has since entertained young and old in every imaginable venue in the South West. In 1995 he inadvertently won 'Jester of the Year' in Covent Garden and more recently has performed as one half of 'The Desmond Tutus Unicycle Ballet Troupe'. He has been teaching circus skills in schools, youth clubs and community centres for many years now, which has proved successful and popular. In Prof Elfics' Science Circus Rupert at last has the chance to combine his scientific knowledge with his circus experience.
The Nikon SB900 fits surprisingly well in the Elinchrom Quadra adapter.
Friction holds it very sturdy in place.
With the wide angle dome to give a bare bulb effect.

PP. Composited four images together and added motion blur to Coop's hand and hat with OnOne's PhotoTools 2.5 Camera Tricks plug-in. The main image minus the blur was as shot with Coop throwing the hat just to my left.

As my skills grow, so does the need for better light and higher quality modifiers in my homestudio.
I turned to Frank Doorhof, a great photographer living close to me, and asked for advice on how to create the best of light in the small space I have, and how to get the maximum out of this equipment during outdoor shoots as well.
Frank invited me for a one-on-one workshop, arranged that Corine would be there all day as a great model, and had Wendy assist on the tasks at hand. The three of them showed me what I can do when the light and the model is of a high quality, and I thank them for that...
