View Deep Blue Large On Black

I met up last Saturday morning with my good friend Marc Alexander for sunrise shots at Glebe of ANZAC bridge ..it was still dark so noise was to be expected on this image...tried to minimise JPEG artifacts in CS4 however they are there when I enlarge image for 300%.....

Another shot testing the focus stacking of the OM 1. This one I chose to focus stack in PS verses in camera because I wanted an output other than a JPG to work with. After stacking I converted using the Filmpak Provia 400x emulation which really brought the colors out nicely.

Taken the same evening as the Angel Cloud shot a few days ago- the colours rocked that night!

June/July...? 2007

The whole time I walked around (which was two hours) I never saw anybody. No humans or human interaction. I not only heard animals, but I heard the forest. I wanted so badly to stray from the path but I worried about trampling things.

The train was really crowded at the point in time of taking this photo and this lady was just staring out of the window and seemingly in deep thoughts...

Walking in the narrow street of Rethymno, Crete, I saw this man. He looked at me for a while without talking then he glanced down.

He looked worried, a bit sad so I left him alone trying to respect this moment.

There is a boy that loves the forest. It's his home. His heart.

There is a boy that loves the city. The buildings, the smells.

There are roots that grow deep, and cross each others ways.

It doesn't matter what they love.

This shot should unify two ideas of waldeck.deviantart.com the zip and the eyelips, but unfortunately you can just see the zip. There are so many shots, but the autofocus find my eye only in a few photos and this one is the best of them. That's why I upload this one, although you can't see the eyelips.

The idea was, to skirt the eye with red colour, so that it looks like lips, but it was too difficult for me, to draw my eyes with the thick red lipstick, so I had to choose the black eye-liner.

By the way: In my pupil there is a reflection of the window and the camera. I was a bit shocked, when I recognized, that you can also see the tree standing in front of the house.

these are from the summer of 2009! buried deep in the archives....

I was surprised to see all these lovely plants outside our building.
