700 sq. ft. multi-level deck with roof structure. We installed sunlights and fans in the roof structure over the kitchen area. The kitchen area is faced with cultured stone. The seating area is flush with the top of the built in planter boxes giving a feeling of being on the ground while still being a few steps over ground level to keep an eye on guests in the pool.
Just upgraded my Olympus E-PL2 to an E-M10 and took a few test shots recently in my garden.

The tower which houses the deck overlooks the entrance to the creek, of which Dubai owe its development on.
The official residence of Sheikhs Saeed Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai (1912-1958) and grandfather of the present Ruler, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has been restored to stand proud again on the Shindagha end of Dubai Creek.
Today it houses a rare collection of historic photographs, coins, stamps and documents that record Dubai’s history.
The main architectural attraction is the use of 'wind towers' which were the main cooling system for the houses those days.

These little pits were all over the deck. I think they aare tying-off points. Notice the texturing of the metal, to increase friction.
A piece of this deck partially collapsed on Monday around 12:30pm. I came to watch recovery efforts after work, when the workers were performing some sort of welding task to (presumably) shore up the remaining supports so that they could safely begin excavating vehicles.
Local news coverage of the collapse: WSB, 11 Alive, CBS Atlanta, Fox 5
