First holes drilled. Can't say I wasn't worried when I put the drill agains the deck that I'd just spent so many hours building.
As you can see I've already drawn on the deck where the hatches will be.
We came across these Deck Chairs on the beach. I thought it would have been nice for someone to have been sitting in one. Now I think it is better they are empty, as you are now guessing, where they have gone. Maybe to buy their own boat?
We used custom iron rails and composite decking with LED lights to create an elevated deck to connect the house with it's detached (and off-set) garage, in a historic district of Lancaster, PA.
This Large Deck still has some construction materials on it, but it will be rented out empty and ready for the summer time dinner parties with the door going right into the kitchen!
Deck I has a small observation lounge forward of the turbolift, featuring the notoriously uncomfortable orange furniture seen in TMP. Aft of the ladder is a gravity generator/inertial dampener, followed by an angled Jeffries tube that goes down to Deck K. Framing supports flank the tube.

New deck at one year after construction
What I wanted downstairs was the feel of an old fashioned porch with swing.
This multilevel deck started quite high. We created some storage under the top deck and a private dining area on the lower deck area. The location of this deck build was in Brooklin.
