An old decaying building in Reagan, Texas. It kind of looks like it might have been apartments at one time. The folks who have lived in Reagan all their lives tell us that Reagan was once a big, bustling town. Nowadays, it's just a blip on the highway. There are a few houses and 3 churches remaining there, as well as a bar and grill, auction house, pneumatic tool company, and post office, but now they are threatening to take even the post office away. Little by little, what was once a good sized town is falling into decay.

from neglect, destruction, littering and graffiti

The texture was created from a photo i had taken of the front of an extreamly old bible. i then double exposed it with the other photo =]

This old 1936 Ford V8 is parked on a farm on Bald Peak near Laurelwood,Or.

I took a summer shot of this truck and it's not running!

I love this abandoned church in Gary...

This is what 30 years of neglect and decay looks like.

When inside you can sense the greatness that the church once was.

There are 7 floors... Seven! Three of which are underground...

Creepy? Yeah it was. We couldn't get to the very bottom floor because it is permanently flooded with frozen ice... Yikes.

I should really post the other pics, this was just my favorite room. It was one of the dance studios :)

The one and so far only time I've been on a car cemetery, was back in 2011, when I was on a trip to Sweden with some of the guys and girls from my local photo group.

I'm not a big fan of old decaying cars - or buildings for that matter - but there was some nice light, and I got away with some pretty OK photos.

What's left of our jack-o-lanterns isn't looking so hot. I guess I should, you know, move them to the trash bin. But I'm oddly fascinated by their decay. The little man walked out the front door the other day and said "hey, somebody smooshed our pumpkins" but I tried to explain it was just a natural process.

near the Boonton train station... Part of a venue for a photo shoot with a model/performer who didn't make it...

A decaying agricultural implement on the foreshore at Brims, winter storms have pushed this right up under the low cliff, another bit of history that will be gone in a few years.

Sawn through transverse section of the decayed tooth. Children be warned. The "hole" on the left I assume is the nerve entry point.
