THE GLAMOROUS LIFE LATIN CRUISE

Due to the extremely hot and dry Summer, the leaves on this Mahonia were turning yellow, but as the sunlight caught them, they glowed, revealing their beauty, even in decay.

Cold Winter Morning.

Lots of Details in this Decaying Leaf.

Night fell over Dungeness, the moon was almost full and this boat was just asking to have its photo taken. I'd spent the day walking along the beach with some friends taking photos and I kept coming back to this particular boat as it really captured my imagination.

I wonder what its story is? It was obviously once a fishing vessel and then abandoned many years ago, gradually decaying, continually changing. One day it will be gone forever, only a distant memory to those who have encountered it. Yet its image lives on, captured by many a camera for all to see.

I think the wonderful colours in this decaying piece of wood look really beautiful! :-) HMM

Another hike at a familiar location. This hike along a dry river bed in the early morning fog made me feel a bit uneasy. It was an eerie, muddy, cold morning in a graveyard of decaying limbs and leaves...and there was nowhere else I wanted to be!
