Well I have done 16 mosaic cards so far. I have around 10 confirmed swap partners off-line and maybe a half a dozen on-line. I feel like a need to do maybe 6 more and I will feel good. I want to place a few on Etsy and I want to keep a couple, so if I have an even 20 that will be good. I think I am going to keep Roberto ( red jacket bottom left).
Pretty skully T-shirt embroidered by Priscilla for her granddaughter, who, when she outgrows it, wants it made into a pillow. Now that's fandom.
Went out to Dinner on Sunday at a new to me Mexican place.
Didnât care for the food but they had lots of cool looking items sitting around.
I liked these day of the dead dolls.
I saw a similar piece for $400 and loved it...but couldn't afford it. What to do but make one myself!
The Penn State York community celebrated the Day of the Dead on Oct. 30 and those in attendance decorated sugar skulls. Skulls were decorated with colorful paint, feathers, plastic jewels, and a variety of other items.
I'LL BE LIVE PAINTING THIS SUN @ this DAY OF THE DEAD community event in Silverlake.

Here, the dead are buried for one year, then dug up, then stored in those small metal coffins after their bones are washed.
This "Day of the Dead" figure came from Mexico, and was carved out of a dried gourd. I hung it on my wall and made a little shrine for it, including traditional Day of the Dead offerings of cigars and liquor to show respect for the spirits.

I have no idea what it tasted like; not mine, I just photographed it. :)
