As I am going to be away I made my altar modest in size this year.

Manning a booth with a family can be a challenge, but one always finds a way to pass the time

Brighton's yearly White Night festival celebrates the end of British Summer Time and the extra hour in the night with a art festival featuring various nocturnal art, from the family friendly early evening to a raucous 2am finish.

 

Em had a stall selling Kanzashi at the sadly soon to be demolished Open Market set up by the compARTment group there.

 

The Catrina Calavera makeup attracted many admirers!

 

There was various stalls, interactive art for the elephant, some insanely loud music that fortunately dropped to a sensible level after the first band, a stall selling cakes so chocolatey they gave me diabetes and a lady selling the best soup ever.

 

Sadly this interesting area is all to go, becoming "flats and retail", which the cynic in me has translated to "unaffordable luxury flats and a Tesco Express".
