I had an absolutely fantastic day photographing this beautiful litter of puppies. It was incredibly difficult for me not to sneak one out in my camera bag. Aren't they just all so adorable?!
long shift at work, burnt arm, no fun.

This afternoon while swamped with work, I get a call from shawn. Him and his friend Tasha want to be Day 52. Not having an idea or volunteers yet I quickly agreed and the theme search began. Not more than a few minutes later the idea of rain popped in my mind. I set the shoot up for 7pm and continued working.
As soon as the sun went down we were off to capture the rain. My location choices were limited to the length of hose I had. My front yard was as far as I could go after hooking up two hoses! Check out the complete story at: www.204studiosphoto.com/365blogs/day52

All week we've had dire warnings of a huge blizzard that was going to hit today. Had an idea for a shot during the storm but the snow ended up being a lot less and quite gentle. Here, some ornamental grasses catch the first of the 'blizzard'.

Spicing it up a bit
-----------------------------
Black pepper (Piper nigrum) is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, known as a peppercorn, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. When fresh and fully mature, the fruit is about 5 mm (0.20 in) in diameter and dark red, and contains a single seed, like all drupes. Peppercorns and the ground pepper derived from them may be described simply as pepper, or more precisely as black pepper (cooked and dried unripe fruit), green pepper (dried unripe fruit), or white pepper (ripe fruit seeds).

fifty two~
Day fifty-two.
Okay... I didn't mean to do the same pose as my last selfie, it just kind of happened that way. I was doing all kinds of poses, and I liked this one the best... so...I guess you could say this is a more laid back version than day 49. :D
Oh... and excuse the fact that my back is showing. It's not a crop top, it's just extremely flowy and I didn't have time to straighten it :)
Anywho, today was extremely tiring. I need a nap.

Bird road rage
It's a snowy day. The snow started earlier than I hoped so although I originally planned to go out shooting instead I am inside taking bird pictures, fighting the desire to take a nap and instead made bread rolls. I am also reading a book, surfing the internet, and trying to talk myself into starting our annual taxes.

This is my new picture for my 365 project for the weekly theme "reflections".
In the early morning today, I drove to the Zürich Airport to pick up a friend - time enough for some nice pictures.
Here the outtake for today [https://www.flickr.com/photos/donlunzo16/16393927047/]
It also for my X theme. My challenge is to find any X signs, symbols or crossing lines.
Captured with a Nikon Df and a manual Nikkor Ai 35mm ƒ1:2 plus a 3 x ND Filter, post processed in Lightroom using VSCO Film.

Day 52 - Not very pink really - had to push it in Lightroom to get some colour out of it. Hence the naff quality.

I have not done any lightpainting in ages but when I saw todays theme at "Our Daily Challenge" I thought I should give it a try. "Phoenix" was the theme and I gave it a try...
Not satisfied with the result though.... I would have tried harder had not the lighter stopped working.
Oh well... it's a scetch of where I was heading anyway.
I needed a photo for the day in my 365 and this will have to do.
I spent some time yesterday at one of the local, no-kill rescue shelters taking photos of the animals available for adoption. This is Harrison. He is a very sweet, laid back boy.
