Lower Almonte Falls. I know that I do a lot of waterfalls, but I thought this one was interesting with the cut open slice of ice. Plus, in no time the ice will be gone.

52 Weeks of Pix ~ Flight Of The Phoenix
The basic theme of Metamorphosis is that everything changes.
Shot on iPhone 6.
I had a couple of hours free this morning so I went out for a run. The fact that it was bucketing down wasn't going to stop me. Often when you see other runners you give them a nod or a smile, today the few other runs I saw had silly grins like me - you had to be mad to be out running in rain like this morning. At one stage, the "puddle" I went through was up to my knees. All good fun.
This was taken on the Story Bridge - it was pretty easy to make sure no one else got in my shot :-)
20180221_4381_7D2-185 Big Seas of Gita #1 (052/365) [Explored]
Ex Tropical Cyclone Gita passed across the centre of New Zealand last night and we got rain - about 70mm in 30 hours. The predicted strong winds didn't come though, but now have a big sea running and a moderate wind from the south.
Some of the scaffolding for the pier repairs has been smashed lose and the council is warning surfers to take care as there is scaffolding in the water well away from the pier.

I don't usually get a chance to think of photography in the gym, but I saw these shadows in the gorgeous sunshine, and ran for my phone...

FGR - spot the loonies
I sat out on my roof in below freezing temps last night (it was soooo clear) to capture some eclipse shots. None of them captured the detail that I wanted! Ratz. So here's to you Fugger!

When you visit Trafalgar Square you will notice Nelson is looking towards The Mall where he is surveying his fleet, each ship that took part in the Battle of Trafalgar is on top lamp posts lining The Mall.
Bird or dinosaur? Many years ago I was dining at a local Japanese restaurant with my family. During the course of the meal, one of the owners approached our table and started up a conversation, being very friendly with our young daughters. At one point, he asked for a $1 bill, which I remember thinking was odd, but then he used it to make this fabulous winged creature. I think it's supposed to be a crane.
