I’m not what you’d call an incredibly sexual person. Not anymore, anyway. I’m in my fifties now (and hopefully wiser for the wear), so I no longer have the frisky energy of a younger woman. In fact, it’s that very lack of desperation that’s freed me, sexually speaking. Having come to terms with the mature woman that I’ve become, I’m clearly in touch with what I want. My younger sister has recently finished High School and asked me to take some photographs of her friends before their prom. I took a documentary approach, choosing to shoot what I saw rather than pose them too much, also because the girls were running late, there was no time for posing photographs before the prom. I quite like these images which I just thought I'd share with you all.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Honestly I'm not that familiar with Marilyn Monroe. So I'm not entirely sure which famous outfit this one is based off of. Regardless, it still captures that Marilyn feel. It is definitely not the same dress design as that featured on my "The Seven Year Itch" Barbie. I'm sure some parents would probably be upset that MGA made a tot doll based on such a "sexy" celebrity. But personally I don't take L.O.L.s (or any dolls really) seriously. They are just that...dolls. They are little plastic figurines that are meant to be absurd and to spark kids' imaginations. The color of Leading Baby's dress is interesting. It's almost a bit transparent, but you can't actually see her body through it. In sharp contrast, her shoes and sunglasses are this hot red color! Her coffee cup on the other hand is more muted with a silver lid. I do wish MGA had varied their Series 1 cup designs more, but I suppose this was such a new line that they hadn't quite expanded the creativity like they did for later collections.
