The Holy Grail of British Columbia Cancels - Mobile Post Office - following the movement and building of the CPR Railway. Only known usage from January til September 1885.
Although actual dates for the establishment of End of Track post office vary somewhat, postal records give - 1 October 1884, as an official opening. The closing date seems similarly obscure. However, - 31 December 1885—two months after completion of the railway at Craigellachie (on Nov 7, 1885)—is likely. Thus, while it may appear that the office existed for 14 months, a more realistic figure for actual activity would probably be about 11 months. So I convinced the boy to snap another shoe pic ha ha. this one took place as we were getting ready to go to the movies the other night. I'd gotten home from work late and didn't have a whole lot of time before he'd be over, so i shrugged off my blazer and shell, unbuckled my ankle straps and took off my black heels, had a few spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream for dinner, freshened up a tad grabbed a black pullover and pulled on these tan cuffed wedge heeled ankle boots just in time for his ringing my doorbell just before eight. i charmed him into snapping this pic and we headed out in his car we talked about our day and such throughout the ride and across the parking lot so of course i'd forgotten to tie my shoes until we were side stepping down the row of seats and i kept stepping on my undone laces natch i figured why bother while we were seated nor was there much room to tie them in a lady like fashion anyway so i left them untied throughout the movie, actually feeling pretty good about myself doing so hee hee well when the end of the movie came, you guessed it, kept stepping on my laces again exiting the row of seats. well i didn't want to block the aisle while everyone was leaving so we headed for the car like everybody else through the lobby with my laces whipping the backs of my ankles all the way back to the car "didn't you tie your shoes?" he asked rounding the back of his car i felt myself blush and said "not yet" with my head down bless his heart, he was all manners cuz i fell asleep within minutes of him starting the engine! i woke up to his gentle hand on my shoulder with the car door open behind me at the edge of my sidewalk. "i didn't snore did i?" i was so embarrassed. "just barely audible sleep noises" i apologized, he assured me not to worry and that he thought it was cute. blush. and he took my hand as i tumbled from my slumber in his front passenger seat and patiently helped me get my land legs balanced back on my four inch wedges -- still untied mind you -- and he gentlemanly walked me back up my sidewalk, held me steady as i unlocked my door, guided me up the steps to my apt and borrowed my keys to let me in. he stayed to make sure i wouldn't fall and crack open my skull and only went home himself once i proved i was alright on my own in a sleep tee shirt, pajama pants and white socks sometime after midnight and i went to bed after locking up behind him.

The Elephant's Trunk nebula is a concentration of interstellar gas and dust in the star cluster IC 1396, an ionized gas region located in the constellation Cepheus about 2,400 light years away from Earth. The piece of the nebula is the dark, dense globule IC 1396A; it is commonly called the Elephant's Trunk nebula because of its appearance at visible light wavelengths, where there is a dark patch with a bright, twisted rim.

Mood app on iPhone is doing great job to replicate the analog feeling. Just when I tried it on a people, they weren't that happy as with common iPhone rendering - that crisp and vibrant.
"Erotically Sparking and Steamy"
Early marriage was borne of ancient societies' need to secure a safe environment in which to breed, handle the granting of property rights, and protect bloodlines. Ancient Hebrew law required a man to become the husband of a deceased brother's widow.
But even in these early times, marriage was much about love and desire as it was social and economic stability. In its roundness, the engagement ring, a custom dating back to the Ancient Rome, is believed to represent eternity and everlasting union. It was once believed a vein or nerve ran directly from the 'ring' finger of the left hand to the heart.
Many other modern day marriage traditions have their origins in these ancient times. Newly-weds are said to have aided fertility by drinking a brew made from honey during certain lunar phases and it is this tradition from which we derive the origins of the word 'honeymoon'.
ONE WIFE OR TWO?
Understanding of marriage contrasted greatly from culture to culture. Some cultures viewed the institution as endogamous (men were required to marry within their own social group, family, clan, or tribe), exogamous (marrying outside the geographical region or social group) or polygamous (allowing men to take more than one bride).
Polygamy was formally banned towards the end of the Roman Empire with laws against adultery, fornication and other relationships outside a monogamous lifelong covenant. The seeds of modern marriage were sowed here and they extended into the modern Western world.
