This image is made by combining two blue sky photos and recolouring to look like sunset and further manipulating in both Topaz and Photoshop.

An image taken at the head of Langdale just before the stormy sky blocked out all the direct sunlight
One from last summer. Taken from the side of the road that runs from Aviemore to Carrbridge in Speyside. A bit later in the day and the rainbow would have framed the majestic sight of the Caingorms plateau, the foothills of which can just be seen to the right of the frame. But the small stand of old trees under the dark rainclouds provided a reasonable alternative.

Was lucky to capture the sunshine beaming out of the thick clouds at Seljalandsfoss waterfall. A breath taking experience for me it was.
This one is just so special for me. Ever since I started photography it was my dream to capture a long exposure at this magnificent waterfall in Iceland. With a drop of 60m and water gushing, this has been one of the best experiences of my life. My 5d Mk3 even experienced some direct contact with water but it was totally worth it.
High in the mountains of Madeira, Portugal are fields of yellow gorse flowers shrouded in low lyng clouds.
Group of trees on the hillside of the Hoad in Ulverston, sunshie behind against dark looming rainclouds.

The full moon around midnight of Summer solstice night, which was supposed to be spectacular and a once in 70 years chance, hid behind dark cloud cover for most of the night. Here another short glimpe of it I could capture through a small window in the menacing clouds.
After a rainy, dark day around Aviemore it was a real bonus when a small gap in the clouds allowed the low sun to shine through at the end of the day. I was lucky to be in the vicinity of Loch Morlich so I rushed down to the beach to find it bathed in glorious, late light. The clouds over the Caingorms behind the trees really were this dark.
