I saw this ridge in fog for the first time today. After driving my wife to work, I went home, grab my camera and tripod then heads up to this ridge. It was about 15 minutes hike from where I parked my car at the bottom of the hills. The hike was awesome and I brought home with me lots of "magical moment" photos.

ale of Edale Hike:
Today I decided to explore the route I had intended to do late November, before the snow changed my plans, which took me from Grindsbrook Booth to Hope Station.
Unfortunately the only light I really got occurred in the first hour of my hike, but it absolutely worth it. This view is looking west towards Lose Hill and Hollins Cross, both of which were shrouded in cloud. The cloud was thin enough to allow intense highlights to punch through, creating patches of dappled light that quickly moved across the landscape. I took multiple exposures that caught these patches of light in different positions on the landscape, this one was my favourite.
