Do you see him? Perched on his rock above the Cable Pool, tucked in among the trees and ferns, on the Capilano River?
Even though I work for Fisheries, I don't fish, but I admire his serenity....clearly this is his form of meditation.
I was concerned about repeating myself rather, doing more tree stuff, but I think there's life in the subject yet.
My first time photographing a hedgehog! It was pretty difficult, because the creature either wanted to bee-line off as fast as possible or curl into a ball.
I found him / her the night before I took the photo, snuffling around under the mulberry tree in our garden. I kept it overnight (providing food etc, of course) and then photographed it in the daylight.
Another view of my friend's wonderful garden in mid-morning sunshine - again difficult to master. However, poppies, wooden bench and light seduced me into giving it a try.

The Beautiful blend of boughs bent with sun-kissed curves, a delight, a dream, a serene scene where light and shadow know their parts in this theatrical setting.
I have been meaning to take a picture of this particular tree at Nottingham University for a while but the conditions were never right.
Today there was beautiful sunshine and so the view stopped me in my tracks and picked out this view. There is a slight lean that i have slightly exaggerated.
Other trees are mingling their leaves. This is definitley an oak tree but leaves of a Norwegian Maple can also be seen as it merges its branches with the oak trees' branches.
