I liked the light on this building - part of the Barbican highwalk - this morning. I like the way you can see right through to the walkway, too.

Much better day at work today - and so happy that it's Friday - and the weekend! Woohoo - I made it through a whole week back at work! It's felt like such a long week....

This is one of those moments I wish I had one of my better cameras with me instead of the phone. Getting inspired while driving is so much fun.

I am fascinated with light and I could not resist pulling over to capture the pools of light filtering through the Fall trees. The dappled effect was really quite marvelous. I was on the way up Highway 60 to the Parkway and spotted a suitable pull off with a nice dense woods descending into the valley adjacent to the road. As they say, the rest is history...

" Old Blue "

The young deer was watching me and listening to Charlie my little dog, who was further up the drove, nose to the ground, zig zagging along the Hare's previous route. Her left ear twitched towards him focussing on his rustlings in the undergrowth...no threat.

The afternoon light peeks through a hole in the forest canopy and illuminates the undergrowth completely covered with a magical carpet of purple.

Its that time of year... leaves turning gold and red and yellow, dropping to the ground and being photgraphed by all and sundry...

Found this little glade in the Peak District while driving down a little road I'd never been down before...
