The path leading to the Visitor Centre in the most exquisite light. The tree silhouettes are beautiful when contrasted with the sunlight filtering through the trees highlighting the grass, branches and leaves.
Sandy beach lane flanked by wooden fence and in the dappled shade of the overhanging trees on the island of Gili Air, Lombok.

Treehaven Diary Entry - Another dappled sunlight photo. This isn't as "true" as the other one, because I don't think there is actually dappled light on my subject... but there is some in the background. I also and trying to keep using strong leading lines, but again, this is pretty cliche in my opinion.
A view through the trees that overhang the inner boundary wall and a line of mature beech trees.
An intoxicating view of shade and light
I'm beaming reassurance at the Wren, silently trying to make him/her understand I am no threat but they are such shy little characters..This little wren was keeping a very close eye on me and alerting everything for miles around of my presence...doh!

The sheep really add to the perspective in this shot. Sunlight has caught the tops of the hills beyond. On the right you can see the flanks of High Wheeldon Hill and dead centre are Chrome and Parkhouse Hills.
I've been posting a lot of flowers lately but after a long, snowy winter I'm so happy to see flowers everywhere. I don't know the name of these tiny beauties--do you?
...the calm returns and dappled light, soft greens and a much more trusting little creature.....or are they just curious? Say hello to one of my favourite dragonflies..purely for their approachability and happy little faces..The Common Darter~Sympetrum striolatum
I'm ashamed to say that my wife brought these Gerberas home.. but having done that (or not done as the case may be) I think I've done something to preserve them a little longer ;-)
I hope that you enjoy this shot. It was taken with my 50mm at f/1.8 (basically just because you can - but also for the wonderful bokeh it produces).
The colours were enhanced a little via a curves adjustment and a few points of plus on the saturation scale. The rest is pretty much as shot.
Enjoy.
P.S. I took them out into the garden to get that wonderful green - I was shooting them indoors and thought that break out and get them somewhere that was a little more inspirational ;-)
