Momo Velia Deviluke [モモ・ベリア・デビルーク] is one of the main female characters in the original animated video (OAV) series To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness. She has short pink hair, purple eyes, and a devilish tail that are faithfully re-created into a scaled figure by Alphamax.

Inside the main temple. In the middle there is a box called Saisen Bako [賽銭箱[さいせんばこ]] where you would throw money before making a prayer. You would often see the box drawn in Tohou illustrations.
Usually one would throw a 5 yen coin - the pronunciation for "5 yen" in Japanese is "Go-en" (pronounced "goh en") and is the same pronunciation as "ご縁" meaning "good luck or fate."
Behind the Saisen Bako is where one will see many priests blessing the amulets and talisman before they are handed over to the owner.

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 [宇宙戦艦ヤマト2199] is a remake of the original 'Space Battleship Yamato' TV series from 1974 using modern animation techniques and some storyline changes. The series is being directed by Izubuchi Yutaka [出渕裕] (RahXephon) with animation production handled by AIC (Now and Then, Here and There, Ookami-kakushi) and Xebec [ジーベック] (Heroic Age, Rinne no Lagrange).
Since 2012, Space Battleship Yamato 2199 has been released in an ongoing series of movies, but starting in April 2013 these will be broadcast on TV as weekly episodes on MBS.

Now its time to make the eyes. I'm still thinking whether to do Acrylic or Resign eyes. Acrylic eyes are cheaper for mass production. Resin eyes cost more but are more shiny and seem to look better and more lifelike.
The black domes you see here are the sculpt for the eyes which are placed on some plasticine. The can pictured here is filled with silicon rubber.

Oh darn! So many figures fell from the ceiling that they are blocking the entrance and I cat get out of the office meaning that I cant get food or go for a poo and die.
But its all cool because you are going to help me take some of it - tis giveaway time again! Switch on the back for various types of recording. I leave it on "1" which is standard narration. "2" is for ambient sounds like a concert and I think "3" is for recording instruments.
The Blue Snowball plugs in via USB to the Mac and is recognized straight away - no drivers needed.

The amulets come in different shapes and sizes but are usually made of paper or wood with some of them being wrapped in cloth. Smaller amulets are known as Omamori [御守り[おまもり]]. These ones are usually carried about ones person. Many school children tie them to their randoseru.
Lately there have been anime themed Omamori but many dont mention whether they have been blessed or not. If you are picking up an anime themed Omamori then you should treat it more like a novelty item or a token rather than something spiritual.

The Snowball comes with a retro look n feel in chrome, white or black. The mic can be removed from its retractable stand and the legs can be folded. I didn't know this the first time we recorded but the mic head can tilt too.

After looking around my room - I only notice 1 male figure which is Figma Robocop ^^; Had a conversation with many folks in the figure industry about the lack of male figures. Its simply because there are not enough people who would buy them.
The female otaku population tend to buy more items with a low price range but would rarely fork out for a scale figure that costs over 5,000 yen.
Are there any male figures that you would see made into a figure?

Slush Molding (casting) Soft Vinyl is one of the cheapest form of toy production with costs low enough so that many individual folks can afford to make their own stuff.
Good Smile Company has been making some really detailed products of late using this form of molding and you can see the high amount of details that soft vinyl can yield.

While installing on the 17" MBP, I can continue work on the Mac Book Air as I have all my data on the 1TB external USB drive. The machines only contain the bare bones that I need to get on with stuff. The 1TB drive is then synced daily to another backup drive.
When I was a Windows user, I pointed my desktop and other folders to an external drive. This meant that when Windows got clogged up again, I could restore from an image that I took of the OS and start off fresh again. Taken a similar approach with the Macs to separate the OS and data.
Whats Windows like these days? Dose it still become slow after using it for a while or did they manage to fix all that? I still use Windows XP for QA and testing out Windows only games.
How often do you re-install or restore your OS from a clone?
As for the Tokyo MX towel on the table - in the Summer I usually have a small towel on the table as yukky sweat tends to gunk up the glass - arms rest on the towel to prevent this.
