They stood in front of a restaurant (to be) and the nice french owner just wanted to get rid of them!! Each just 10,-! Damn I really wished I had more space in my little blue house!

i tried not to judge the juice by it's wrapper...but in the end they were all equally good

Pretty sleek and they're actually comfortable to sit in.

Creating a simple, soft design for small and large pendants was the main idea behind Cecilie Manz' Caravaggio series. The curves passed through a number of shapes during the design process, but this version captures a feminine form. More info about the Caravaggio pendant

Rosti Mixing Bowl, said to have been designed by Sigvard Bernadotte, and Acton Bjorn in 1950.

I have also read that it was designed in 1955 by Jacob Jensen who worked in the design studio od Bernadotte and Bjorn.

One of those designs that is as modern today as when it was designed 60 years ago.

I picked this up in a charity shop last week. This is the smaller version. They had the larger one there too but it had a bad crack in it so I passed!

Only the colour indicates that it is a recent production.

Denmark has a remarkable number of famous designers for such a small courty. PH is one of the people who made sure this is that way. Mostly famous for his lamps (IKEA is still coming up with new ways to copy them without getting sued), this is his grand piano from 1931. It's also still in production, if you are interested.

Often imitated, never matched, the bicycle design of Søren Sögreni is legendary. He's been at it for 28 years and he is still going strong.

190721: Last weekend we were at the flea market in Preetz, and I could not pass the perpetual teakwood calendar. I watched a funny situation: A little boy let his yellow squeak duck swim in the small channel in Preetz and ran with joy side by side. A dog saw the duck and almost broke free - he wanted to catch the duck! After the flea market we were at the Preetz Priory - the most impressive for me was the 400-500-year-old oak!

Designed by Danish-American furniture designer Jens Risom in 1941 for Knoll.

We inherited this boring IKEA closet from the former owners. We thought it to be irritating but kept it for temporary, practial reasons.

The drawers and doors were covered in brown laminated wood - horrible - but we decided to paint them in high-gloss black.

This completely changed the character of the closet and the room. Adding a mirror-like effect and sharp, crisp geometry.

I have a few exhibitions of my photos coming up and I was playing around with poster designs.
